Possibly where we differ mate, I get overly friendly and buy people drinks and end up adding to the bill <laugh> My mate local here is from the NE originally, so hopefully if I were to go up again it would be with them haha
Aye screw that ha! I chat to people if I’m having a pint but they can buy their own <laugh>

Unless it’s an attractive woman, I’m a sucker for a pretty face. Tho if they’re pretty they won’t be talking to me, so actually not an issue either <laugh>
A lovely scouser bought me some shots after the final result on sunday, then I got the shots in, then everything goes a bit blurry <laugh>

I've got four tickets for the euro millions on friday, wish us all luck <diva>

This has been my year by f***ing leagues so far, so who knows haha

The wife usually comes over with me on overnight stays but she has no interest in football whatsoever so goes shopping whilst I'm at the match. I spend most of the game worrying about how much she's spending.

It's not cheap going to games, I've just spent the neck end of £400 to go across just to watch The Carabao Cup Final in Shearer's Bar but worth every penny! 🍻🏆
I was trying to convince my mate to go up to Newcastle, or London - either way is a dear do - just to be there. But between work, lack of money, kids etc it's just not always doable. If I win the big time on the lottery I'll take everyone (regular) on TF to a hospitality game of my choosing <laugh>
👍 looking forward to it already! <cheers>

I travel up from the midlands and nobody I know supports Newcastle, the benefit of going on your own is you don’t really go out spending £100+ on booze <laugh>

My problem is it wouldn't be 50 pound on food and drink. I spent twice that in a dive bar in town this weekend <laugh> For the final, obviously.

Yeah 166m, that'd be bloody lovely wouldn't it

Yeah the cup games I went to were £20 for the match ticket (decent price tbf for league cup), £90 return for the train, night in an Airbnb was £65 (hotels were all double that minimum), £10 on metro travel and probs around £50 on food and drink so it adds up.

And I look forward to the hospitality Valentino <cheers>

Euromillions is £166m on Friday..

I've been to a handful of games in general, but a smaller handful of away games. 5-0 loss at City, friendly win at Blackpool (that was a bloody good jolly) 3-1 I think loss at Everton when we went down, win at Wigan in the championship (I want to say 2-0 but can't remember).

Looking at saving up for hospitality for a game at some point next season, but it's bloody expensive. I'm sure worth it as a one off, but talking best part of 400 just for the ticket. Same again almost for combined transport, hotel and beer tokens. Maybe when they build the new stadium they can play in my home town for a season <laugh>

Nice! My aim was to get to one game this season but made it to two so can’t moan <laugh>

Would be nice to have some sort of way of trying for the occasional away ticket but seems that’s never happening in the next decade at least! My last away game was wolves away, Bruce’s penultimate game…
Only been to one away game the 0-6 loss at Old Trafford in 2008. I was a guest of the company I sold my business to as they knew I was a Toon fan but, unfortunately, I was in with the home fans and it didn't take those around me long to realise as I was the only one still sitting as the goals went in during the second half.

Missed out on Brentford and Man U in the ballots but got one for Brentford in the members general sale on Monday and will try again next Monday for Man U.

I've been very, very lucky as Brentford will be my 11th PL game and I've also had 2 cup games but have only been successful in 4 ballots one of which was Brighton in the cup which I couldn't got to.

This season has cost me a small fortune but it's been worth it!

My run of bad luck continues... not success in the Brentford or Man Utd ballot <cry>
<cry>

I've only had luck in the cup games, not won any league ballots.

Spurs have frozen ST prices for this season.

"Unavoidable".

Someone has used the contact us button to ask if there's anyone interested in buying their guest ticket to a box at the final. Can put anyone who is interested in touch, but can't vouch for the seller in any way. They mention the face value being over 2 grand, so probably not going cheap...
I'll offer £200 <laugh>
