I think I’ll leave this seasons final out turn comment with the Ritchie factor !!
Since his “challenge” to Bruce and return to tbe team we’ve improved massively.......undeniably so
He brings a determination a positive action, a persistence and a threat that invigorates those around him.
Good on him , he was right, Bruce was wrong 👍🏼
To be fair, Ritchie was absolute s**** as a LB, and didn't deserve to be playing. But to his and Bruce's credit (can't believe I'm giving him that), unsurprisingly as a winger he's better suited to playing LWB, and he buckled down after their fight and really upped his game too. Maybe they both needed that blow-up to get on with and make some necessary changes.

I was working so didn't watch the game, very brief highlights by the look of it. Didn't realise Willock ran with the ball from our half to score, thought more would've been made of that <laugh> Looked to be like Ritchie dived for the penalty? Only one angle shown there though, and doesn't matter in the long run.
There was contact on Ritchie, not much the defender could have done / known about it tho.

Turns out we are a one man team...Willock!

If Bruce had continued to freeze him out (Ritchie) we definitely wouldn’t have hit 45 points, he’s contributed massively to some big wins and chipped in his share of assists (including winning the penalty today).

How the **** have we spent 90% of the season stressed about relegation only to end up 12th <neg>.

Bruce is going to be even more insufferable now.
^^This ^^
It’s the absolutely classic Newcastle narrative.
Could have, should have, and in the end just about did

The most dysfunctional frustrating club in football.

I’m actually in some sense hoping we don’t change.

In retrospect just accept the frustrating suppressed passion and live the dream for the time when once more we are recognised as a team that puts the front foot forward and attacks as a philosophy again.

The unqualified love and affection for this club will always endure, hopefully the team style will soon reflect this

An iconic strip, iconic ground, iconic players and fans.

One day .......

HTL

That 10 game spell or whatever it was without a win over Christmas time. Can't help but wonder what might of been. Defeats at home against Leeds and Palace and away at Sheffield particularly poor results.

This.. would've preferred Carroll coming on to give him a rightful send-off he deserves. Anyone over Hendrick.. you could have gone for Lewis / Matty so they could get some minutes but he turns to the ''solid pro'' Hendrick. Anyway a win is a win.. we played well in the first half but second half we struggled as Fulham increased the pressure & tempo but it always had a friendly feeling too it.. just glad we got the second to kill it off & very cool n' composed pen by Schar. <love>

Hopefully this won't be Willock's last game with us but if it is.. what a brilliant signing he's been, transformed the whole team & gave some much needed energy & uplift to the team! Scored the goals to secure our safety & has been the missing jigsaw in the midfield engine room we needed. Goals, aerial threat, late runs into the box, off the ball movement, energetic, quick & dynamic. Wish him all the best if he stays at Arsenal & good luck to him! Has great potential & if he carries on with this form with Arsenal there going to have a top-quality player on there hands.. could see him being capped in the future! <awe>

45 points. 12th place. Who would have thought that.. couple months ago? Very good end to the season.. need to recruit wisely in the summer & keep playing like this. Could be the difference between doing a ''West Ham'' or doing a ''West Brom''.. see what I did there! <diva>

We have all the makings of a top-half side.. just need to be more consistent, keep our best players, recruit 2/3 quality players & we're set!
<whistle>
When's Thorgan Hazard signing for us?

12th as it stands. I should be happy but pundits gonna be wanking off Bruce for at least another season now.
