Whilst that looks an ideal draw on paper, guarentee that if we got past Watford then Portsmouth would do us in. Probably at our place as well. If QPR wins that tie, then you've just got the McClaren Narrative.
My second favourite Robert Ludlum.
<laugh> As I typed it, it sounded like the title of some half baked crime novel.

Only 7 PL teams left in it.

I’d love for two unfaniced or unglamorous teams to get to the final (unlikely as City will win it) just to **** off the TV companies and corporate sponsors. Like Boro v Shrewsbury or something.
Portsmouth/QPR v Watford

<neg>
There will only be 2 of the top 6 left in the competition after the next round after Chelsea drew Man U.

Arsenal, Liverpool, West Ham, Leicester, Everton, Bournemouth, Spurs (probably) all out before r5. The chance of a decent cup run was there for the taking. Someone s*** is probably going to get to a SF, could’ve been us.

Don’t recall hearing him having disciplinary issues before so just a one off probably.

Dan Barlaser - our kid on loan at Accrington - just got a second yellow vs. Derby. Was one of the best players on the pitch till then.

Bless him, they just showed him crying in the dressing room. Clearly has desire and ability but needs to be smarter.

It’s a combination of Ole playing football that suits the players and not hammering them for trying things that don’t always come off. Neither of which Jose did.

But the fact that the likes of Pogba didn’t want to play for mourinho and didn’t give 100% is definitely a factor. Chelsea players did it to Conte last season (Courtois and Hazard being the biggest offenders) and even Leicester did it to Ranieri (Vardy the biggest culprit).

Not sure how he's managed it but Solskjaer has done a ridiculously good job there. Or Mourinho a ridiculously bad one.
Maybe a bit of both? Just demonstrates how badly they underperformed with Mourinho. There never was an excuse for a squad like theirs to score as little as they did.
