Re: Django Unchained

I agree that the structure of this film could have been alot better, and i'm sure Tarantino would admit that. However based on everything else from dialogue to cast i think it's every bit as good as the Tarantino films in question. The opening scene goes down in cinema history in my opinion, it is a...

I think so too. He has no excuse this year with Taraabt and Bent in the side offering him further attacking options.

He's just jealous that his attackers couldn't peel themselves away from our defenders... MYM and Colo are an amazing CB partnership. Honestly the more they play together the better they seem to get, glad Saylor got sent off the fat prick he can **** off. The ball retention is so good and the pace o...

Re: Your Player Ratings vs Fulham

Krul - 7 - done nothing wrong, good solid hand onto the Ruiz freekick, distribution seems to have improved. Debuchy - 6 - not his best game for us, but i'm very glad he still has confidence to get forward and attack; worked very hard all game. Yanga-Mbiwa - 8.5 - MOTM - sublime performance imo, he i...

Re: MATCH DAY THREAD - Newcastle vs. Fulham - 31/8/13

Remy changed the game there, his injection of pace and confidence put Fulham on the back foot and Ben Arfa, Sissoko and Gouffran flourished due to that.

Obviously Pardew and co will coach all of the goodness out of Remy this week and we'll be back to square one next game.

Re: Electronic Music Thread

been listening to lots of Burial and John Talabot recently. Burial fills me with nostalgia due to the vocal samples he uses; it is cleansing music in it's most literal form. Particularly songs, "D2 Unite", "Loner" and "Where is Home?" As for Talabot, i recommend his album "fin" for anybody looking f...

Re: MATCH DAY THREAD - Newcastle vs. Fulham - 31/8/13

The way we're playing suits a 4-3-3, however Pardew will play any and every other formation asides from that one it seems. We need wingers if we want to play 4-4-2, but we have inside forwards/attacking midfielders. You can almost see the players naturally taking up 4-3-3 positions and mentalities, ...

...and then i saw his face, Oh Yanga-M'biwa. Yeah, he's got pace, no doubt in my mind. I'm in love, TOON! I'm a believer of Yanga-M'biwa on the tyne.

Re: MATCH DAY THREAD - Newcastle vs. Fulham - 31/8/13

Pardews failure to progress or develop his "tactics" is what has me feeling so deflated recently before watching matches; and by the looks of things, this match is going to continue the mind-numbing pattern. Our players have had their confidence and their instinctive footballing ideas coached out of...
