Re: Ritchie is a radge... And he knows it

From the interview part A few gentle questions out of the way, this is the end of our conversation. The Athletic: “Are you aware of the Geordie word radge and what it means? Matt Ritchie: “Radge? Yes. I believe it means a bit of a toe-rag, is that correct?” TA: “Well, an angry person maybe.” MR: “An...

Ritchie is a radge... And he knows it

Great article on Ritchie's competitiveness, hatred of corner flags and importance to the team. Including an interview where he is asked if he's happy to be described as a radge.

Re: Newcastle set to make move for £22m forward

twas before my time, not sure its been on terrestrial tv when I could have watched it. Used to get a lift to school from my mate's mum. She was obsessed with Jimmy Nail's music so we had to listen to it loads. Could never bring myself to seek out a show with him in it after that Auf Wiedersehen Pet...

Re: Newcastle set to make move for £22m forward

I don't think anyone should be allowed to call themselves a Toon fan if they haven't seen Auf Wiedersehen, Pet. That's basically the criteria. I bet that knobhead guest in the Rochdale thread hasn't either. twas before my time, not sure its been on terrestrial tv when I could have watched it. Used ...

Re: NUFC Minor/Untrusted Transfer Rumours (Winter 2020)

Absolutely no way we’re paying £30m on a striker 6 months after Joelinton. Just think of the Joelinton transfer as £10m plus Ayoze Perez money, makes his start a lot easier to handle lol No it makes me mad. We spend 10m (well more because feed go to agents) do get rid of one of our few goalscorers ...

Re: Nufc unfulfilled potential xi

Not sure I’d say Shola was unfulfilled potential. He was never going to be amazing, and for his ability made a good career for himself (>50 goals I think). Same for Taylor, had a good career but was never going to be top top class. Good question though, I’ll have a think. Thauvin comes to mind. I t...

Nufc unfulfilled potential xi

I saw a podcast was doing a (second) unfulfilled potential XI and included woodgate and boumsong. An nufc version? I feel including the woodgates who were mainly due to injury are harsh. Struggling a bit but: ? Taylor Bramble santon Ben Arfa? Viana? Shola Bramble, when focused had all the right attr...

I think a lot of core forum membe...
