Re: m*ckems V NEWCASTLE U21s

They're charging their own fans £15 to watch our U21s <laugh>

They've charged £3 for previous games in this competition.

Also under competition rules we're entitled to 10% of the stadium capacity. About 4,800.

Re: Sky: Peter Kenyon in talks about taking over NUFC

Just got this text from my dad, his mate is 'itk', probably crap like. "Been told Newcastle have been sold to a USA consortium headed by Peter Kenyon. Announcement later today or tomorrow!" I've heard similar. Mamagement and players were told last night a deal has been agreed, hence all the leaks t...

Re: m*ckems V NEWCASTLE U21s

It's win win for us. If they beat our U21s then they've won against our kids with theor first team so it doesn't matter. If we win the piss taking will reach new levels for years to come.

Re: Wolves (h) Boycott Postponed

Credit to the group, they are if nothing else quite convincing at making it sound like they’re a significant group. They are a significant group. Agree or disagree with some of what they do, they are the only supporters group of note. There shouldn't be a need for TMG the NUST should be doing what ...

Re: Links to other clubs' main forums

I always thought that Evertonians didn’t mind Rafa? Obviously he has Liverpool connection, but he did a lot for the city too and always thought that counted a lot for Everton fans (despite him being a red). Yeah I don't think there is anything in the Rafa factor. Everton had an irrational hatred fo...

Re: Match thread - Everton v NUFC

Agreed. Be intresting to see what we do with no Ritchie. I'd replace him with Lascelles and go 3 at the back. Bring Shelvey in for Manquillo as well and play something like this: Dubravka Schar Lascelles Fernandez Yedlin Ki-SY Diame Shelvey Kenedy Perez Rondon Maybe Joselu for Perez. Muto for Perez...

Re: Match thread - Everton v NUFC

Another narrow loss I think 1-0 or 2-1 I think so. But if we beat wolves I’ll take that. Agreed. Be intresting to see what we do with no Ritchie. I'd replace him with Lascelles and go 3 at the back. Re: Transfer window takeover saga 2018

Looks like there is actually something in this. The Press Association, Sky, BT and pretty much every paper are all reporting four bids matching or exceeding the asking price have been made.

Liverpool v Everton was s**** as per normal. Pretty funny watching the absolute howler from that mackem cronut though. Glad Liverpool won. Souness is full of s**** as well.

Re: Match day thread - NUFC v West ‘am

Looking forward to this today. I can see us winning again. West Ham have been poor of late. It'll be interesting to see what the team is today with Lascelles, Muto and Shelvey back fit. I'd be tempted to leave things how they are. Schar and Fernandez have been great so I wouldn't bring Lascelles bac...

Re: Weekend Football 30 Nov - 02 Dec

Wolves is definitely winnable, as is today’s game. I’d be very surprised if we won away at Everton and would be more than happy with a point. Agreed. We've got 3 very winnable home games starting today. Win all 3 and we'll be in a great position. We could maybe even get 1 or 2 points at Everton and...

...but, is it possible that Rafa is doing such a good job at keeping a mediocre team in the Premier League This. He's done a great job the past two seasons. Won the Championship then did very well to finish top half. Poor start this season but we lool to be turning it around. Rafa will keep us up a...

Re: Protest Plans

So has the planned 11th minute protest at the West Ham match died a death? Hopefully it has, let’s build on the last three games rather than having this potentially sidetracking things. Seems like it's still happening. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11678/11566701/newcastle-fans-plan-west-...

Re: NUFC Minor/Untrusted Transfer Rumours (January 2019)

Almirón plays for Atlanta not Atalanta. This is the correct team https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atlanta_United_FC#Players That was understood, but I think that was the point of OT's original point, that instead of buying Almiron from Atlanta, we'll loan someone from Atalanta. Then in reading up on t...
