Re: Pavel's eBar

And it's entirely Cameron's fault for ruining the practice of electing a party based on what they claim to stand for, rather than electing a party because they'll just do whatever. I don't think anyone expected the country to vote leave, but any sensible leader would have not taken that risk and gi...

Re: The F1 Thread

Yeah just seen it and was a good race. Shame for Max who would have won had it not been for Ocon being an absolute bellend. Regardless of whether Ocon should have fought for track position, which was his right, it was f***ing stupid from Max. So much to lose and nothing to gain, he should have just...

Re: The Message of Hate Thread

That stupid antibiotics advert, last time I checked they were not over the counter and only obtainable through your doctor, so why do we need to be chastised and told to listen to your doctor when it's only the doctor that can prescribe them!! Because people don't listen to their doctors. They fini...

I didn't cash out. Was very tempted once Liverpool scored though as it dropped to £13 but thought I'd let it run the course.

Re: Netflix Recommendations

I thought it was alright. Not in a hurry to watch it again. Thought it was good, very good performances from Jonah Hill and Justin Theroux. Yeah Jonah was very good. Almost too good, it made me quite uncomfortable to watch. I think the reason I didn't really enjoy it was because there was no real c...

Fancied some gin yesterday so picked up a bottle of Bombay Sapphire. Only $35 which I thought wasn't bad for 1.75L.
Got home and realised it's 47%! Lethal!

After all your recommendations I convinced the girlfriend to watch Hill House. We got through one episode last night and she is terrified and I'm not sure she's up for finishing it.

Anyone seen all the leaked gameplay footage? I’ve avoided any of the spoiler-y ones but my goodness <awe> <awe> It’s all in a stickied post on /r/reddeadredemption if interested. I watched the initial 20s one and then the horse off a cliff one <awe> , don't want to watch any more and ruin it though.

Re: Match day thread - NUFC v Brighton

Horrible again, if that's how we're going to play at home against teams we expect to be around then we might as well just give up now. The quality may not be there, but these are players Rafa has signed to fit his system (even if they are his 3rd or 4th choice for the position) and they look like t...

Re: Match day thread - NUFC v Brighton

Not saying he's bulletproof at all, but I think we'd struggle with Alex f***ing Ferguson with these players. . We wouldn't, we wouldn't be in the top half but we wouldn't be getting cut adrift bottom. Fergie proved over the years he can win a game on tactics from the bench by changing things and bu...
