Re: Paul Gascoigne charged again...

Not about this particularly, but I don’t see why the names of people accused of sexual offences are released before they are proven guilty. By all means name and shame when guilt has been proven, but not before. A lot of false accusations are made but mud sticks. Similarly if someone has been proven...

Re: The F1 Thread

Will give that a read later. What I will say is that Alonso has been the architect of much of his own downfall. Even his move to IndyCar isn’t entirely his own choice, no other teams want to take him on for various reasons. Of course two world championships is great but he could and should have had ...

Re: UEFA Nations League

So have England already qualified for EURO2020 by virtue of being one of the 4 teams to make the 'finals' next summer? If so do they scrap their qualifying matches (as what would be the point)? Or is it only the outright winner who qualifies for EURO2020? No they have qualified for the playoffs not...

Re: Protest Plans

It seems like they're trying to raise awareness of issues that are already being well picked up in the mainstream media, rather than try to shed light on new issues. I get the maintain momentum mentality (and I'm sure others who pay good money to go week in week out will see things differently to so...

Re: Protest Plans

If you want to take your seat I'd just take your seat. It's up to individuals to do what they want to do, I don't think anyone will be spitting feathers if you break the picket line to go to your seat in time for kick-off. You know some of the bells on Twitter will be... True <laugh> Although you c...

Re: UEFA Nations League

So now England are playing in a tournament in Portugal next summer ? Is this eventually going to replace the Euros ? I am still confused? Apparently so. Complete waste of time. I like how the BBC were saying "England avenge WC SF defeat", erm no they didn't! I'm sure Croatia preferred playing in a ...
