Bale will take time to get up to speed as he only played 20 games last season, but he’s still got a lot to offer.

Re: Brighton (H) - match thread

Hendrick got a goal and an assist v West Ham so would be mad to bring in Miggy over him. Hendrick got forward a lot, so it’s not like we’re being defensive by playing him.

Re: Other club transfers summer 2020

Didn’t in any way suggested it was borderline Leicester <laugh>

Their wages are broadly comparable with city’s wage bill, their transfer spend is quite a bit less, several hundred million less. So it is quite a difference.

Re: Other club transfers summer 2020

I'm trying to find an accurate and reliable and easy to find version of wage bills but looks like Liverpool are 3rd highest, average spend per year per player is 5.5 mil on wages. Transfers and net spends aren't the way to judge sides based on financial output, it's too simplistic. Yep, but the 3rd...

Re: Other club transfers summer 2020

https://www.planetfootball.com/quick-reads/the-20-premier-league-clubs-ranked-by-net-spend-over-last-five-years/ Based on that, Liverpool don’t buy titles. That was June this year, so add on £200m for Chelsea and about £60m for Liverpool (tho they’re getting £10m from wolves for a kid who’s never pl...

Re: WEEKEND FOOTBALL - 19/21 SEPTEMBER 2020

It’s noticeable how English journalists are picking out Lindelof as the man in defence who’s the weak link and needs replaced. He’s no worse or better than Maguire who’s nothing more than an alright CB.

And having it retaken was a bit harsh as well. Double dose of medicine and zero sympathy from me.
Man U fans reaction is hilarious <laugh>

How many soft pens did they get last season?
