Re: WEEKEND FOOTBALL - 17/20 AUGUST 2018

Most of Shelvey and Ritchie's corners and freekicks were s*** all game so they'd probably have missed too <laugh>

Cannot wait to play City <urgh>

Aguero always seems to score against us too.
Not even going to watch that game as it'll be a repeat of last seasons park the bus tactics <erk>
Yeah, won't be pretty.

Brighton 1-0 Man U.

Re: Match day thread - Cardiff v NUFC

Saw the "highlights" wouldn't be amiss to expect retrospective action for both Kenedy and Arter, however Kenedy's was worse due to it being off the the ball. Hayden as a right back was never going to be good, but **** me this was bad. dangerous red. Free kick into the wall and terrible penalty show...

It appears to have slipped through the net that QPR managed by Schteve McClaren lost 7-1 today <laugh>

Re: Racially inappropiate?

You'd get away with that on a building site, but not in that kind of environment. I'll presume he didn't mean it maliciously, but stupid thing to say in a professional environment.

Re: Match day thread - Cardiff v NUFC

That ineligibility isn’t set by the league though is it? Surely that’s an agreement between the two clubs? I think it's a league rule now that you can't play against your parent club. After LuaLua hurt us when he was on loan to, I always want to say Brighton but I think Portsmouth, and scored again...

Well Kenedy won't be playing.
Kenedy won’t be playing anyway as it’s against Chelsea so he’s ineligible. So good time to get banned if he’s going to.
As Colly said, as he'd have been ineligible v Chelsea anyway there's a chance that he'll have a 3 game ban after the Chelsea game.

Re: Match day thread - Cardiff v NUFC

Ummed and erred about watching the match today at the pub. So glad I opted to do the gardening instead based on the comments of this match thread. Granted sometimes people exaggerate about how bad things were, but this was truly awful. Had we been playing anyone with an ounce of attacking ability w...

Re: Match day thread - Cardiff v NUFC

Well Kenedy won't be playing. Random question, Kenedy will likely get a justified 3 match ban, but would the Chelsea game count for one of those given he would have been illegible for it anyway? Good question. Presumably as he'll be ineligible for that anyway it'll be 3 games + the Chelsea one <scr...

Re: Match day thread - Cardiff v NUFC

I'd bring Rondon in for Joselu, Atsu can come in for Kenedy, hopefully Yedlin is back aswell. You could make a case for replacing the entire XI after that shitheap though. CBs were both comfortable, can't recall a clear-cut chance for Cardiff. Shelvey the only player to create something, other than...

Re: Match day thread - Cardiff v NUFC

Whilst Kenedy should never have been allowed anywhere near that PK, I wouldn't have been overly confident if Shelvey had taken it either...half his crosses and corners seemed to hit the first man. Same with Ritchie when he was on. And what does it say that our recognised striker wasn't even consider...
