Re: Weekend football (Matchweek 38)
Can’t blame Villa - had a s*** load of games and CL was secured already, suspect they’ve been partying (deservedly so).

Re: Weekend football (Matchweek 38)
Predicted they’d get spanked - running on empty and they’ve done what they had to do. Brought Mateta into my FPL team

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Brentford
Barnes - Wilson - Almiron isn’t bad (rumours Isak will be on the bench).

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Brentford
I think this has got 1-1 written all over it, which imo will be enough for p7. Can’t see Man U winning.

I’d be surprised if Man U won there, they’re still an awful team.UlversToon wrote: ↑Sat May 18, 2024 4:11 pmLet's hope he goes out with a win tomorrow.bodacious benny wrote: ↑Sat May 18, 2024 2:54 pmThe overhyped De Zerbi leaving Brighton at the end of the season.

Re: Season Review 23/24
Match day 1 lining up in the San Siro is probably my favourite moment of the season; proper spine tingling when the music came on! PSG runs it close but the anthem playing and us lining up for the first time in 20+ years was just a wow moment.

Re: Lewis Hall
If I’d been offered 4th and 7th in any order for the least 2 seasons a couple of years ago I’d have taken it without hesitation. It’s clear things are continually developing and we’re moving the entire infrastructure of the club forward, limited to a pace set by PSR in some areas. Everything about ...

Our purple puma one from 08/09 is one my my modern favourites (still got mine with 'Jonas' on the back and in pretty good condition still). Shame we got relegated that season
I think my all time favourites are the 97-99 home shirt (first one I owned) and the 99-00 home shirt.

"I wasn’t at the level I could’ve been at in training. That comes from travelling so far from home and living on your own"...this is forgotten or completely ignored by a lot of people...new signings are expected to just rock up somewhere new and hit the ground running without appreciation that it ta...

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Man U
The frustrating thing about last night was that we did enough to score the goals to win the game (which hasn't been the case in a lot of our away woes this season (15th in the league)). That shows the setup and tactics were fine, and this loss is on the players and not the coaching team. I think xG ...
