Re: Match day thread - NUFC v Spurs

Everyone knew that it’s a case of muddle on through until Christmas, we still have the same players and coach and despite being in indifferent form Spurs are a million miles ahead of us.

Re: Minority of not, some of our fans are embarrassing right now

A massive chunk of our fans are utter f***ing d***s. I'm sure the same can be said for most clubs of course. They are doing exactly what is expected - sticking up for the Saudi regime and slating anyone that criticises it. A lot of what is described as "banter" is just awful. 100% this. Anyone who'...

Re: New Manager

Leicester are a million miles ahead of us in every aspect at the moment so not surprising.

Other than money, I’d say even Potter would be taking a step down to join us when you look at how well the infrastructure at Brighton has been built up.

Re: New Manager

Also in our favour is given the likes of Norwich, Watford and Burnley it's unlikely we'll be cut well adrift at the bottom come January.

Yeah I liked Santa Cruz at Blackburn.

Remember Morten Games Pedersen? He was class for a while there too.

Re: TF International Football Thread

Yeah, the talent is there but most England fans would admit the football for the most part is pretty underwhelming. Southgate is a pragmatic, limited manager. Excellent people person and speaks very well but I can’t recall many exciting England games under him. But he gets the job done and qualifies...

I am starting to feel like he will be in the dugout on Sunday.

Though he'll know it's his last game so maybe the famous gloves will come off one final time...

Re: New Manager

So many supposed experts and pundits claiming Bruce should be given a chance to show what he can do with money <laugh>

I think we’ve all seen what Bruce can do, we’re winless this season. He’d probably sign Coutinho and play him at wingback.

Re: New Manager

Spurs is game 1 of a brand new era at this football club, do they really want Bruce on the touchline knowing that 95%+ of fans recently said on a poll they wanted him gone? I think whether Bruce is there or not the atmosp...
