What about that young Greek Karrat fella?

Seems to be a central midfielder but saw him play on the wings for Greece and he looked very good.
Heard he's a bit of a rough diamond.
Can see really well in the dark tho.

Re: Manager of the season

Don't forget that it's a PL award, so cups and Europe don't apply. If Nuno had stayed in 3rd he'd have been nailed on, as it stands for me if he finishes in the CL spots it still should be, him making 5th is a better achievement than Slot, Howe etc. Pardew got it for us finishing 5th, I think Fores...

Re: Manager of the season

Nuno for me IF Forest get CL football. But Slot will likely win it, though I don't think he's done anything remarkable like Nuno could possibly do. If we finish in the top 5 + the league cup it's a brilliant season for us but I don't think enough in its own right to equate to manager of the season. ...

Re: Matchday thread - Magpies v Eagles

What a game, what a result spent the two and a half hour drive home just looking at the table! PS I wasn't driving! <laugh> 66 points was enough for 5th last season. 67 and 69 the two season before that. We’re on 59 now, so in theory just 3 more wins should get us 5th and then anything else is a bo...

Re: Matchday thread - Magpies v Eagles

Agreed - would be silly now to turn down a guaranteed 5th (hypothetically). Even tho Arsenal have a CL distraction I think they’ll finish p2. They’ve also got some easy games including palace at home (a few days before palace play an fa cup semi final), Ipswich, Southampton and Spurs. If they had a ...

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist

Wondering, do we persist with Murphy for another year as first choice with this lad as his understudy? Dibling would have been a decent shout but the rumoured £100m fee is absolutely criminal, even in this current market of over valued players. No way is Dibling worth anywhere near that and even So...

Would anyone take 5th now if it was offered?
Nope, we can win the league on goal difference if Liverpool lose all their games and we win ours well.

Edit: we can win it by a point, so **** goal difference <laugh>

I'm having a row with the missus and going round there now to sort it out. Not entirely sure what I've done wrong. Point being I'll miss the entire second half, so I imagine we'll get 9
Is the relationship worth it? <roll>

Hope you sort it!

Re: Matchday thread - Magpies v Eagles

Can someone explain to me how Palace's XG is on 1.14 and our is 0.66 even though we've had more goals, more shots, more shots on target and more possession? https://www.livesport.com/uk/match/football/tW9QWPoQ/#/match-summary/match-statistics/0 A penalty is around 0.8 xG, and our shots haven't been...
