Re: Pavel's eBar

Only had one drink in over 3 weeks as on some meds at the moment…maybe it’s not been long enough to feel any benefits but nothing has really changed. I wouldn’t say I feel any better within myself generally, my sleep isn’t any better / worse (I don’t usually sleep particularly well), my mental healt...

Re: Arsenal v Newcastle

On ASM over-celebrating and getting a booking, I wouldn’t read much into that, it must have happened a hundred times in the PL to plenty of players.

That said, he’s certainly not captain material!

Re: Arsenal v Newcastle

Ramsdale has made more saves than Dubravka today. Under Bruce we’d have lost 2 or 3 nil without troubling the keeper. Hopefully that tells against lesser sides.

Re: Arsenal v Newcastle

I’d have said 2/3-0 before the game wouldn’t have been unrealistic.

Arsenal (prior to last week v Liverpool) had been in fantastic form so no surprise at all.

Re: Arsenal v Newcastle

Always had the feel of a game where it was just a matter of time until they scored and that would be that.

I’d take Wilson off to make sure he’s available for Tuesday.

Wilson definitely getting a yellow at some point so will miss the Norwich game…
Ritchie does.
Yep, rather lose him for a game v Norwich than Wilson tho.

We’ve done okay, made a couple of chances. I’d probably take off Krafth for Manquillo.

He’ll clearly score now, but I don’t particularly rate Odegaard.

Re: Arsenal v Newcastle

I do worry that our CM will just be completely bypassed by Arsenal but **** it, we’d probably lose anyway so might as well have a go!

Re: The Message of Hate Thread

The only good thing about the nation's overwhelming urge to start Christmas earlier every year is that mince pies have been available for a month or so already. I do love mince pies. The only good thing about Xmas in my opinion. But i'm a miserable bastard. With you on the mince pies. I was at Cost...

Howe will be in the dugout tomorrow after returning a negative Covid test.
not sure how that works - i tested positive and had to isolate for 10 days . then tested negative after 3 days but still had to isolate .
I've lost all track of what the rules are!

Re: New Manager: Eddie Howe Confirmed

Part of me hoped he wouldn't make it, then his first 'proper' game would hopefully have been at home to Norwich with 3 points <laugh>

Can't see us getting anything at Arsenal, we hardly ever do.

Re: The Managerial Merry-Go-Round Thread

I think he’s fine, he’s not an elite manager imo -
Think he’s only won one or two cups in Germany some years ago? Definitely not on the level of someone like Conte who they could have nabbed if they’d moved sooner to sack Solskjaer.
