Re: The Managerial Merry-Go-Round Thread

Ancelotti been sacked. I wonder if he will turn up at Everton/Arsenal? West Ham may have a sniff if they sack Pellegrini. Ambitious, but you never know. Napoli were on a bad run of form until winning tonight, though. Still a great, well decorated manager.

Re: Newcastle United Showing Strong Interest In Monaco French Ace

Plus they'd spent over 80m on the front line in 6 months - more money wasn't coming before 2 of them even kicked a ball for us. Very true. I wonder if Gayle will go in January? If someone like Leeds signed him for £12-£15m they'd guarantee themselves automatic promotion. Send him Fulham in part-ex ...

Re: MATCHDAY THREAD - NEWCASTLE UNITED v SOUTHAMPTON

I didn’t see the game yesterday, but how was Ings overall game? Really seems to have put his injury woes behind him, if Southampton go down then could pick him up for a reasonable price. He looked dangerous from what I remember, but I'd had a drink. Depends what you think is reasonable, they paid 2...

Re: Match day thread - Sheff Utd v NUFC

I put us on to win so uber happy! A bit defensive in the first half would be my only complaint I have us and Brighton as a double. £5 pays £137.50. Just happy we won though to be honest! I want Brighton to score so I can cash out then lose so we’re further away from them in the table!! Cash out qui...

Excellent 3 points and disciplined display. Plus the likes of Schar, Longstaff, Lejeune all waiting in the wings for when the fixtures come thick and fast.
Ritchie to come back soon as well

Re: Midweek Football 03-05 DEC

Possibly, but how many people would subscribe if it meant having a choice of every game like they do for this week? Yeah I imagine the uptake would be very large, so long as people realise what they are getting for the money. I certainly wouldn't begrudge paying more if there was extended coverage....

3-1 loss. Almiron with a late goal, followed by backflips and an ankle injury.

Re: NUFC XI of the Decade

I think I like a mix of your two altered versions, personally I preferred Debuchy, but I definitely think Enrique is the best LB (albeit only for a year or two of the decade), and I'm really torn regarding which 2 of Cisse, Ba, Perez and Jonas (who was such a hardworking player and huge personality...

Re: The Managerial Merry-Go-Round Thread

Flick is doing a good job at Bayern apparently, but he is only interim. While it's more likely they'll stick with him, depends if Bayern blink or not with Poch now available. Although he might fancy a break till the summer anyway. He's got some dollar to spend.

Benitez second favourite at 3/1. I think it's that low purely due to to the timing of these comments.

Re: The Managerial Merry-Go-Round Thread

I can't see him managing down south if he comes back to the PL, his next job here will be not too far from where his family is, I was surprised at the China move though but kinda see it as a once in a lifetime payday setting up for retirement. Don't think he will leave there just yet, will at least...

Re: The Managerial Merry-Go-Round Thread

West Ham would make sense. I think they were close to appointing him before he went Madrid. Arsenal would be a brilliant fit, i imagine they will give Emery until the end of the season. Rafa will have had a year away then and may be interested in returning.

Xhaka would be a poor signing.

Does nothing except score a wonder goal for time to time and get the odd sending off.

Re: NUFC Minor/Untrusted Transfer Rumours (Summer 2019)

33 year old Giroud apparently made available for 5m. Doubt they would let both go, even if the ban is lifted. Would also be very decent but wages presumably an issue and wouldn't pay £5m for a 33 year old <urgh> Yeah, while I think Giroud would be a good signing in the short term, wouldn't happen u...

Wouldn’t mind Batshuayi on loan in Jan but Chelsea probably wouldn’t let him go.
