Re: Rafa Out?
Colly, Heisen and Lidl hit the nail on the head for me. Top posts that pretty much say all I can say and put them together and it shows why I would be more than happy for him to go. Same here. Judging by his reputation only, Rafa is a manager we should be more than happy with. But it just looks lik...

Re: Yoshinori Muto Transfer Thread- (9.5m fee agreed,on a plane)
Another solid signing I think. He managed to get eight goals and four assists in a very poor Mainz side last year. Will need to adapt to English football, so he probably won't be banging in more than ten goals in the Premier League, but he could link up well with another striker.

Re: The Fabian Schar thread (Signed!)
Solid signing <ok> not the fastest CB you can get iirc, but a great header, and - considering he's only 26 years old - very experienced in international football through his spells at Hoffenheim, La Coruna and playing in the Champions and Europa League. By the way the pronunciation of his last name,...

That's really painful to watch. England would be lucky to get into the penalties at the moment

Re: World Cup 2018 Match Thread
I could only watch the first ten minutes of the England match, but those were among the best I've seen by any team in the tournament so far. And in the end you got the win no matter what, so that's something to build upon. The German display against Mexico was complete shambles, we will need a huge ...

Crazy how the Argentina manager didn't bring on Dybala Messi could've decided the match all alone though

Re: What is your favourite beer brand?
It's so much cheaper in Germany <whistle> <coat> I got a crate of 20 bottles (4 of each brand) from my local store for 16,49€, that's about 15 quid. <cheers> I hope you weren't in with the Koln fans causing trouble last night <roll> Nope, I wasn't there. Re: Game of Thrones
Just me or does it feel like it is abundantly clear now how the series will end? Cersei, full on mad Queen, threatening Wildfire, killed by Jaime? I really really hope the show isn't that obvious. Even if that part of the story is turning out like this, there are at least some other interesting iss...

Re: Game of Thrones
Why can't Dnearys have children? Something to do with the witch in S1? Yeah she was cursed. Although I did read a theory that she can now since 'only death can pay for life' The witch in season one took her unborn child's life in order to save Khal Drogo, stating that 'only death can pay for life'....

Re: Retro kit font
The font is called "Senscilia" and was used from 1997 - 2007. For the 1998 home shirt, you should be looking for the white letters (lads correct me if that's wrong). Subside Sports (www.subsidesports.com/uk) would be a good shout for that, though I'm afraid they don't have the letter S and the numbe...

Re: RIP Cheick Tiote
I was really devastated when I heard the news, and reading all the messages from his former NUFC teammates almost brought me to tears. It's really heartbreaking losing him so young. Our players' reactions show what a decent lad he was and the togetherness makes me proud of our club. Rest in peace, C...
