Re: Darlow or Woodman?
Darlow was far too nervous against WBA in a game when practically under no pressure. Our remaining games are 100% pressure so I would take a chance on Woodman.

Re: Arsenal vs Newcastle Utd - 02/01/16
Our abysmal record during the entirety of 2015 shows were not too good to go down. In fact it shows that we should go down. A plucky performance against the big teams every now and again doesn't change that. Why does the same team that played well v Arsenal today play like a bunch of amateurs again...

Must have been a misprint. It should have read 'a year' instead of 'a week.

Re: Newcastle Utd vs Stoke City - 31/10/15
Did Ranieri, Bilic or Flores tell their new signings at the beginning of the season, 'OK guys don't worry, we will give you plenty of time to settle in'. I doubt it very much and their results speak for themselves. Why are our managers and a lot of fans keep using this as an excuse for failure?

After he left us he went on to play a load of games for Fulham. Quite an unassuming player who just got on with it and doubt he gave the Management a minute of grief.

Re: Referee f***ed us!
The main problem arose well before kick off when the decision was made to appoint a very inexperienced referee for what is usually a difficult game to referee. Because of his inexperience he was far too quick to make a decision which turned out to be a game changer. Why was Mike Dean, a very experie...

Due to a year abroad and the fact that I don't exactly live around the corner from SJP this has been my first home game since the 13/14 season... definitely picked the right one. <awe> Elliott had a good game. To be honest, I've always felt alright with having him as back-up. We're not a club that ...

Re: "Is Gutierrez suing Newcastle United?"
Didn't we pay for his cancer treatment? Yeah we acted pretty dickishly by telling him to find another club, but as far as I'm aware you can't sue someone just for being a knob with you. If that was the case we'd all be millionaires. Made him pay for his own treatment apparently. That was because he...

Re: How long should McClaren get to turn things around?
Ashley should have gone and got Klopp <mob> Reports are saying that he's signed the deal with Liverpool for £7.3million per year, or £140k per week. Wonder how much Ashley has stumped up for McClaren. His basic is £5 mil a year. The rest is bonuses. Although moving into Rogers apartment will cost h...

Re: Brendan Rodgers Sacked by Liverpool
Is this 'committee' actually any different to the rest of the league though? Barring it's silly name it was board members and scouts which feels about right for how football clubs have been run for years. At well run clubs it is the Manager/Head Coach who suggests players to the owner, who then ask...
