Re: Matchday Thread: Spurs v Newcastle

Shelvey is the worst for standing about, also did anyone see Murphy have a pop at him for talking too much, i noticed Shelvey shying away but still running his mouth and pointing where everyone should pass then 2 minutes later he does it to murphy and Murphy then shuts him down, thats instantly won...

Bruce has stated it wasn't a penalty in his opinion and would have been livid if it had been against his team.
He looked embarrassed at full time

Re: Matchday Thread: Spurs v Newcastle

This result cannot justify or vindicate the way we set up. It shouldn't I should say. Because we all know we won't be changing anytime soon.

Re: Matchday Thread: Spurs v Newcastle

We're trying to play Rafa 3 at the back but to do that you need ball playing CBs and to drop Jonjo for someone who just runs and runs.

The shame was before their goal Jonjo had a chance to put Wilson in. I'd bring Fraser on but not too sure who id take off as the long ball to Joelinton is our only half chance of keeping a bit of possession in the middle third of the pitch
Fraser isn’t on the bench

Embarrassing to watch this. There is no plan. Bruce has just picked 11 players and said 'go play ball, lads'

Re: Brighton (H) - match thread

We had a similar result against Norwich 2nd game of the season last year. The reality is we set up much better in the 2nd half and if Wilson bags his sitter who knows. At that point we were 2-0 down and Brighton picked us off on the counter for a third. I’m not saying it flattered them but it doesn’...

Re: Brighton (H) - match thread

We know Shelvey can’t play in a midfield 2. We’ve always known that. We need an AM that can drop on for one of them strikers
