Re: WEEKEND FOOTBALL - 27/30 NOVEMBER 2020

Maybe they should trial headgear, but there is always going to be the question of how much of an impact it would have on heading accuracy, maybe the way forward is to make it compulsory in training at least

Re: Match Day - Crystal Palace v Newcastle

Joelinton just cant win, goal and an assist and people are still scrambling to pick faults. Lets be real he got those because he worked hard and got himself in those positions. Give the lad a break.

Re: NUFC Minor/Untrusted Transfer Rumours (January 2021)

Definitely need a creative box to box CM and a decent ball playing CB. We've needed the former for nearly a decade now, but never seems to be a priority or a source of meaningful rumours. It's felt so obvious and yet it's just been a parade of new forwards and wingers that inevitably get isolated a...

Re: Toon Takeover Thread - Chopra should be champing at the bit

The whole PIF left the table talk is nonsense, it was pretty much confirmed after they said that, that they were still working in the background, the whole Mike Ashley legal challenge has come off the back of secondary discussions with the Premier League where they have been accused of carrying on t...

Re: Toon Takeover Thread - Chopra should be champing at the bit

This can only help the clubs case to be fair, its adds further evidence that the EPL haven't acted according to their own guidelines and further supports the accusations of them leaking confidential information.

Re: Toon Takeover Thread - Chopra should be champing at the bit

https://www.nufc.co.uk/news/latest-news/club-statement-19112020/ Newcastle United has issued the following club statement on Thursday 19 November 2020: “The Club has previously not commented on the arbitration it is pursuing against the Premier League (‘EPL’) with respect to its conduct relating to ...

The SPL is a two horse race and Celtic have shot thier horse in the hoof. As for Lampard, if I had the same resources as him, I'd fancy my own ability to manage Chelsea, I'd definitley have them tighter at the back :)

Re: FA Chairman resigns

I kinda feel the initial race thing was blown way out of proportion, and kinda agree with his follow up where he's said about having to work in America and being advised/encouraged to use the term "person of colour" its all a bit stupid in my opinion and getting to a point where there is a different...

Re: Match Thread: Southampton v Newcastle

The joy of no crowds is the insight into the genius level instructions from Bruce on the side line. The majestic shout of Go on Allan, Go on Allan! Or the Go on Miggy, Go on Miggy! And the sometimes used Go on Joe, Go on Joe! I dont know how he comes up with these next level instructions. Inspiratio...

Re: Match thread: Newcastle v Everton

Still don't like ASM playing centrally, Fraser offered a much bigger threat when he came on by just making the runs into the channel, one which got us our second, with ASM pace its exactly what we needed from him. Miggy again playing great in CM (whos laughing now ;) ). Lewis seemed to be getting so...

Re: Wolves thread. interested but also terrified

ASM inability to include the simple stuff into his game is whats holding him back imo, seems he only wants to get the ball and dribble past people which drastically reduces his production, with the pace he has he could tear most defences a new one if he learned to play off the shoulder, its so frust...

Re: Wolves thread. interested but also terrified

After we played pretty well hat first half why the **** did he send them out to sit deep, absolute joke, the soon as we go down and have to attack, surprise surprise we threaten and end up getting a goal. Also ASM cannot play as a 10 or striker, he just has zero desire to make dangerous runs into th...
