Re: WEEKEND FOOTBALL - 19/21 SEPTEMBER 2020

I missed all of Fulhams goals but from what I saw they looked awful, Leeds not much better like. Its looking like WBAand Fulham are going to be going straight back down, Leeds too if they don't sort the defence out.

Re: NUFC Minor/Untrusted Transfer Rumours (Summer 2020)

Ox would be a good shout, Jota and Thiago are going to limit his game time massively.

If we can trim some of his wages down that would be a top signing.

Re: Other club transfers summer 2020

To be fair, discovering how to cook baked beans was a major accomplishment for him in All Or Nothing. I thought he was trolling for a second but then realised he was telling he truth. What kind of lifestyle must he have lived up until this point that he's just learnt how to cook baked beans? To be ...

Re: Match Thread - League Cup, Blackburn (H)

We really should have fleeced Man Utd the other window with Longstaff. He was immense against Bournemouth in a more advanced position at the end of last season. He's a forward thinking midfielder rather than a deep lying player, it's why he worked well with Hayden/Diame. Hes so sloppy though, 9/10 ...

Personally I'd have preferred 4 RBs but im happy to settle for just the 3.

If this is to be believed along with the rumours we are back in for soumare, i think this says Ashley is very confident the takeover will go through. If it doesn't then expect a few season of austerity <laugh>

Re: NUFC dispute with PL over PIF takeover rejection - Lawyers at the ready

Sounds like he's brought in the big guns but I'm not sure what this does for us. People love a scandal, at the very least it will draw a spotlight onto the premier league from outside of the football circle. I think the aim is to level maximum scrutiny at how the league operates. Also, if its true ...

Re: Match day thread - West Ham United v Newcastle United

Did anyone notice how much Hendrick was popping up in the box, he was in there for nearly all of our good chances, wondering if we will see more of that or whether it was more to do with his position for this match. I was getting some Kevin Nolan vibes from him, can see him bagging a few goals and a...

Re: Match day thread - West Ham United v Newcastle United

You can only beat whats in front of you. We were very positive and on the front foot for most of the game, we created lots of chances and defended well. Sure West Ham were not the best but I didnt see anything from us to suggest we wouldn't have won if they had played well. Also think us being the m...

Pelanty! <diva>

Apparently the handball rules have changed again, no idea what they are now.
Its supposed to be anything below short sleeve length yet I've already seen multiple handballs given for hitting the shoulder, so I dont have a clue what's going on with it.

Re: Match day thread - West Ham United v Newcastle United

All the new lads had cracking games, Hendrick looks quality, Lewis solid and busy, Wilson looking like a great piece of business, especially if we keep creating chances for him. My only complaint would be the subs, they were very late and a bit odd, would have brought Carroll off sooner and would ha...

This makes me even more convinced that Hayden wasnt happy under Rafa. Its such a turn around from how desperate he was to move away.

We can’t make a new thread for every link or unsubstantiated bid. I like having all the rumours etc in one place until there’s something more concrete.
Nobody made a new thread <scratch>

Re: NUFC Claim PIF Takeover Rejected by PL, PL Disagree

This is getting weird, George Caulkin claiming takeover was ongoing and the club and consortium had expected the takeover to go through on Tuesday, this is what led to the statement on Wednesday.

Re: NUFC Minor/Untrusted Transfer Rumours (Summer 2020)

Apparently this guy was spot on with Rogerio, but Norwich accepting the lewis bid scuppered the move. So this is pretty interesting.
