Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist

Yeah, I think LB is well covered, you can add Tino and Trippier as potential cover too.

Looks that CB is big priority with lots of talk about Thiaw.

Reports saying we are looking at another forward, so after that a RW too hopefully.

Re: Euro 2024 chat

Finally, I think probably 2 years overdue, but at least we can look forward to a bit of change now. Personally I've never understood the "needs to be English" thing, for me all you need is a good manager with a winning mentality. That said I think Howe is a perfect fit for the role, though I think w...

Re: Euro 2024 chat

Southgate is just tactically horrendous and has been for a long long time, this tournament has been the worst, I know you can only beat the teams that are put in front of you but **** me we've played nobody for the last 2/3 tournaments and this one especially we made hard work of some of the worst r...

Re: Euro 2024 chat

I don't think we will move Gordon on, but I'm confident that if any of the bigger players do get sold then we will have a boat load of money that will definitely get reinvested.

Re: Euro 2024 chat

The worst thing about the Gordon snub is that he's fresh off the back of winning the U-21 Euros as player of the tournament. He's then gone on to have a phenomenal season. But here we are.

Re: Euro 2024 chat

Uses our last sub instance to bring on 1 player, could have thrown 3 attacking subs on but no he's a f***ing imbecile.

Re: Euro 2024 chat

I'm still pretty switched off on England, the brand of football is horrendous, it's all too reminiscent of the England team that turned up against Italy at the last Euros, I was actually hyped for that one as on the way to the final we played some of the best football we had seen in years. We actual...

Re: The Match Tickets Thread

Some great museums nearby too, all free entry not far from the Deep, Theres Wilberforce House, Street life museum and the Hull and East Riding museum. All located in the Old Town Museums Quarter. Isn’t Hull itself like a living museum of what life was like back in the olden days? <roll> I wish, we ...

Re: The Match Tickets Thread

Kinda lucked out, will be going to the Hull City Friendly in a couple of weeks, being based here it's always pretty easy to get tickets for games in the home end, even when it's FA Cup or League cup against the PL teams, anyways so snagged a couple tickets up, probably the only chance I'll get these...

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist

For me you have to build from where you are at, financially I 100% agree we can't really fast track that, but in terms of on the pitch you have to build forward from your last season, I think last year there was way too much of an acceptance that we would drop off, also I think the signings left a l...

Re: Euro 2024 chat

I'm really tempted to not watch tonight, it's either a slow torture of Shitegate football or jump on the PC and be slain numerous times on the western front of Hell Let Loose 🤣.

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist

I always said from the start that I'd judge the ownership on the football side. I think the first 2 years were great, this last year has probably been lacking imo. Right now we need to be swift in appointing a figurehead for the club with the power to have the final say, for me it seemed a bit too m...

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist

It all feels very weird are the moment within the club, the lack of communication really doesn't help, the PSR issue not addressed by the club and this news breaking with every Journo under the sun reporting it and not a peep from the club once again.

Re: Days lost through injury

I think price and the fact he's pretty settled will mean Bruno stays. He'll be too expensive as the fee and likely wage demands make it a very expensive deal for a position City are not at all desperate in.

Re: Euro 2024 chat

Honestly don't think it's very far from the truth, I think Gordon's direct style is why he doesn't play, I think potentially he's not showing in training that he can effectively play a slower game. I think similar with Bowen who again is pretty direct. Eze when he's played hasn't shown any of the ex...

Re: Euro 2024 chat

I remember in one of the warm up games I think it was Walker played a quick through ball through to one of the forwards and the camera cut to Southgate telling him to slow down. For me it's proof that the style and the slow defensive play is all by design by Southgate.
