Re: NUFC Kits Thread

Club also look to be selling match worn kits...ridiculous prices (3k for Isak hat trick shirt) but you'll get someone who'll buy them, nice bitta money for PSR https://shop.newcastleunited.com/collections/memorabilia Not to take the PSR comment too seriously but I could see this actually being used...

Re: FA Cup 2024/25

Arsenal would have won this if Isak wasn't on loan with us.

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist

I've never really bought into the January is different take, I think it probably offers a few unique opportunities, especially with player contracts running down, it's kinda a now or never moment for players getting into the 6 months territory. I think we will probably sign someone, but if we don't ...

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist

Still despite form, if we go three windows without moving forwards with the playing squad questions will be asked, it's the nature of football, we just missed out on Europe last season and after a fruitless window people were baying for blood. I don't see why good form this time around will magicall...

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist

I thought the club would have pushed hard on an early transfer to be honest, if it gets into the last week without any real movement it will turn toxic again fast, will make it 3 windows without a significant addition to the squad.

I feel like David would be an Isak replacement <urgh>
Can easily be used as a rotation and competition for Isak, like ive mentioned before, if we can successfully rotate and give minutes to Wilson (when fit) we can do so with David.

Re: FA Cup 2024/25

Add to that the playoff finals, for me it's always seemed weird that a team can finish 5/6th win one more game and gets a big day out at Wembley for it. I think they should be played elsewhere. Wembley visits just aren't as special now.

Khusanov off to City for 50m
Has the feeling of a player who's agent has done a lot of work shopping him about to secure a move, seemed to be linked with everyone without much concrete interest from most, until now with City.

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist

Harper was always a solid option but was one that was easily replaceable, not a knock on him at all though, but I do think he kinda knew his position was never going to be a secure one. I posted here a while ago about how unique GK position was in terms of football, you have to be very humble becaus...

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Gunners

Started following football at Euro 96, became Shearer obsessed, didn't understand football at all but still cried myself asleep at my Grandads bungalow after watching the game. Same summer we go on a caravan holiday, parents tell me I can get a couple of gifts from the gift shop and I got a little p...

Re: Weekend football - 4/6 January 2025

For all the talk of law changes, bar wacky interpretation from refs the only time yesterday's goal would have been disallowed would have been 2020/21, where the "accidental" handball rule applied to the entire buildup to a goal. Loads of good goals were ruled out because of a brush of an arm 5 pass...

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Gunners

Fantastic overall performance, would have liked to have seen more calmness and control for that last half hour. Tonali is a f***ing machine, doesn't stop, Hall and Livramento were fantastic once again, solid back line. Finally, some actual proactive subs!!!. 😅
