Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist
In practical terms, the big spend from 3 years ago won't fall off the PSR cycle until the end of this month will it? So significant spending would likely need to happy after June 30th - so I'm not worried in that respect. All we've had is a short 10 day transfer window. The vast majority of any sig...

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist
This feels already like it's going to be a very frustrating window, one of 2 things is going to happen, we will either overpay for our top targets or we will run out of time again and nobody comes in. Also the thought of Eddie Howe in charge of transfers scares the s*** out of me so much. It's not t...

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist
I don't think anyone's saying we can't have a crack at any of the competitions we are in, but to do that consistently with the current squad restraints is very very difficult because of how the rules have been set up. We were forced to sell 2 youth prospects because we spent money on the first team,...

Re: Draft Fantasy Football?
An alternative to draft could be this. Similar to Scorecast but with unique rules each week.

Re: Draft Fantasy Football?
I don't know how the FPL one works, but one I used a few years ago (forget what it's called) allowed you to draft all sorts of players mid week if not everyone was taken. So if number one striker Shooty McBoots is out, can pick up DCL on a free or whatever. But yeah we'd have to properly organise t...

Re: Draft Fantasy Football?
I considered running the draft one along with the regular one but its a ball ache, like mentioned a few factors like organising a draft time, having an even number of players (if you go head to head), if someone's top picks get injured they likely stop playing.
There's no harm in trying it though

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist
Jacob Ramsey one to keep an eye on. Talk of pretty much a trade with Harvey Barnes Bump 👀 If it's still as a swap with Barnes then nope nope nope. I'd take Barnes all day long, I think Barnes has matched Ramseys whole career output in just the 2 seasons he's had with us, also for which he was injur...

https://i.imgur.com/osCXrHY.jpeg If my understanding is right this could be our 25 man squad that could also be CL friendly. Ins (£210m) Trafford (£30m) Krul (Free) Guehi (£50m) KWP (Free) Elanga (£60m) McAtee (£30-40m) João Pedro (£40m) Outs (£45m) Dubs (free) or Pope (£10m) Lascelles (free) or Tr...

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist
Regarding of Kieran Maguire said about our supposed budget (150-200 mil) for that we can imagine getting: Mc atee for something like 20mil Elanga for 50mil Muniz for about 25mil Guehi 35mil trafford for 30mil KWP on free And why not try Bobb on Loan I guess that at RW spot we would need a Lefted fo...

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist
As a fan base we are very quick (and right) to point out that we are nowhere near to level of the established order of the league yet in terms of financial might, but for me the current strategy feels like one that the Man City and Man Utds of the league can afford to make, and we seem to accept us ...

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist
Would be a great signing for a sensible fee. But we all know it wouldn't be a sensible fee. Will take £60m imo, at that price point it becomes a bad signing. Absolute top end for me is £40m and that's with me thinking that's still overpaying. Also Forest seem to be healthier than last year so I dou...

Re: Football Titbits
You know the saddest thing about football at the moment for me. The fact Chelsea are not getting anywhere near the s*** storm that Man City are for financial doping. According to financial sources Chelsea are the safest team in the league in terms of PSR leeway, healthier than Brighton who we know s...

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist
Just a rare possible ITK from me. My brother used to play Sunday league with Graeme Jones' nephew (which is how he fluked VIP tickets and the afterparty for the losing Carabao final after we lost in the broken ballot...), and apparently we were never seriously looking into Mbeumo. Sounds like the a...

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist
He's obviously a top level player, but I do think character fit is massively important at the club, I mean if he can get through the whole building up trust from Howe thing and potentially spend half a season earning his spot and live with potentially losing it again in that first season then he wou...

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist
We would have been in the same predicament with Brentford, this is why I never really got too excited over Mbuemo, Brentford are a club that doesn't need to sell and can ask for whatever they like. I'm so happy it's Man Utd getting fleeced. My thoughts was a deal for Mbuemo would basically make our ...

I'd imagine he'd cost a fair whack, plus PSG will probably add a tax on top for us.

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist
Where are we on the homegrown issue? Freddie Woodman has left Preston and available on a free. Suspect one (or more) of our keepers leave so he could be a backup and fill a home grown spot. Only got Longstaff. (Miley too young so doesn't need to be included). Local journalists have linked us with K...

It would seem it's not the first time he's been put on the naughty step either. Apparently been other incidents previously and is known as a bit of a t***. No doubting his ability but personality and attitude could be something that turns us away maybe. Oh 100% Edges very close to the no d******* p...
