Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist

To be honest when I've seen us set up with the back 3 in a few recent games it's made me think that it's something we might see often next year. A Schlotterbeck Botman Thiaw back three with Tino and Hall as wingbacks would make a lot of sense. Main problem though is we would only accommodate 2 in CM...

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist

I'm reluctantly happy for us to go down such a route, even though it's totally not something I'd ever dare to do on ChampManager, never ever would I do such a thing. 🤣

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist

I'm sure the millions they will earn from signing fees alone would help soften the blow of 2 quick transfers. 😅

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist

I feel like this was all pre planned, I also get the feeling we would have done the same with Tosin. I think it would be a good idea to keep an eye on some more free transfers this coming summer as I think we will try something similar again maybe.

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Gooners

Gordon for me I just don't see that threat, even a little during that breakout season for us. I've always felt he needs to improve his end production to really be a top elite player. I'd hoped this season he would crack on and refine that final part of his game. Instead his foot has well and truly c...

Re: Run In

Give your heads a wobble fellas! We’ve won 6 (?) home games on the bounce. Yeah the away form is patchy but at home we’ve been very reliable. We spanked palace 5-0 not long ago when that was seen as a tough game potentially, we beat Brentford who at the time weren’t far away, pissed over Man U, bea...

Re: Run In

I can see us blowing it final game. We have fallen into that rut that we get into sometimes where we are not at all convincing, unfortunately it's come at the worst time, Everton are on a good run and we look so shaky and out of sorts.

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Gooners

Gordon's attitude hasn't seemed right since the summer when linked to Liverpool. I think his head's either turned or he now thinks he's "made it" with the England call ups. I just don't see that drive from him to move up a gear. Before he seemed passionate and left it all out there, now you don't re...

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Gooners

Complete lack of quality, Barnes, Gordon, Murphy, Wilson all dropping stinkers in that final third.

If we get an offer for Gordon this summer I'd sell him, just doesn't look interested anymore.

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Gooners

Callum Wheelchair is officially done, **** me he's horrendous now, like playing with 10 men. I'd rather a raw, inexperienced Osula up there.

Joan Garcia 👀
Hmmm <scratch> , time to go watch a 10 minute YouTube video where he doesn't concede a single goal. <divax>

Re: The Ameobi Arcade

I bought miniOT a gaming console for her 18th birthday. I used to be a web developer and in 2001 I spent about 2k for a top of the range set up with 20gb of memory. Her gaming set up was half the price for a terabyte. I remember my brother paying a fair whack in the 90s after he won a few grand on ...

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist

Delap is apparently twerking for Man Utd.

Still think David is doable though as he can be a little bit more flexible on the pitch and get minutes alongside Isak. Vlahovic is seemingly a more traditional out and out striker from what I've seen.

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist

Can't see him coming in as back up to Isak. Probably too pricey and would want more minutes than we can offer 🫤

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Chelsea

I do like McCoist, I think he's got a genuine passion and excitement for the game, he doesn't want to see red cards and that's how I saw it with the Jackson red. I think he was trying (maybe a little too much) to play it down as intentional as he doesn't want it to be intentional. I do find him very...

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist

I'd probably rather keep Barnes than Gordon at this moment, Gordon hasn't been right since the whole Liverpool PSR thing. It feels like we are getting that first 6 months version of him again, he's completely regressed this season.

Re: Run In

If Arsenal lose today I see us doing them over again, they already get rattled by us so going into a game with us after a bad few games we definitely will have the edge imo. Our aim has to be 2nd. Everton last game of the season I hope they are in holiday mode, the last Goodison game has to be their...
