Re: NUFC Minor/Untrusted Transfer Rumours (Summer 2019)

Cal Roberts has announced he's leaving NUFC, not been sold so presumably just let go. Shame, he managed to bag a goal for us in the FA cup!

Re: Salomon Rondon to sign this weekend? -- Salomon Swapped!

This. Straight swap. But if WBA don't go up then Gayle might want another crack in the Premier League with us? It'll be interesting to see because in our current system I'll take Rondon over Gayle but Gayle's partnership with Perez back towards the end of the 2017-2018 season was fantastic. Pacey, ...

Okazaki?
Dodgy link, but if okazaki is any good at translating tactics on the fly it could make mutiny more viable

Re: Anyone but Liverpool?

Man city have won this. Christ I hate Man city so very much. But what will annoy me even more is all the United fans crowing about how liverpool still haven;t got a title, ignoring the shambles of their own team (relatively speaking, compared to the other top 6 teams)

Well done man city for winning the league. I hate them so very very much. Man united players need to have a look at themselves.

I'm watching in a sports bar in Faro, seeing all the City supporters go mental then nearly cry was beautiful.

Re: Match day - Arsenal v TOON

Fulham (a) - 1 point. Will be a pointless fixture. Nobody will have anything to play for apart from pride but most have there sights on the beaches, mojitos and exotic luxury resorts they will heading to. Can see this being a 1-1 draw which means we'll end the season on 42 points. <diva> <diva> <di...

Re: Blackpool boss explains why Elias Sorensen's loan move went wrong

"he wasn't good enough to play"

"NUFC loaned him to you because you thought he was good enough to play, and they want him to get gametime to improve. You didn't play him"

"Yeah but it's Newcastle fault it didn't work out"

Could try something different and put in Perez down the middle with Atsu/Ritchie and Almiron supporting him.
I was thinking Muto, Perez and Almiron.

Think of the absolutely ungodly pace.

full time whistle should have already gone IMO
The app I'm using says there was 4 minutes added time, and the goal was scored in the 95th, I'm not the brightest at maths like but that doesn't add up (aware I am clutching at straws)

Having watched the highlights, anyone saying Dubravka needs dropped is a moron, he inspires so much more confidence when dealing with crosses and corners that Darlow ever would.

Re: Absolute Record for women's football attendance in Spain

It's one of those things, the game will never be quite as quick and physical for obvious reasons, but that hasn't hurt women's tennis which is arguably technically more interesting to watch. Same with volleyball (indoor and beach) less emphasis on physicality so more technical play. Women's sport a...

Murphy linked to wba on loan. I’ve always backed him and want him to get a real chance, but if we get this Lukaku then he’ll get even less opportunity.
Links up with Gayle as well so could help him settle in quicker. I actually hope he does go and gets more chances, the kid needs game time.

Re: Match day thread - NUFC v Cardiff

He's a young academy "graduate" called up due to injuries, he's scored a goal (in the cup, granted) and is an all round solid midfielder. I think Rashford and similar have overinflated people's expectations for young players.
