Spennymoor have a canny rich backer now, completely redeveloping the ground etc. I know a couple of lads who play for them and they are on 200 quid an appearance. They signed 2 former Whitley bay players on 500 quid a game a couple of seasons ago. I had a feeling it would be around the £100-£200 ma...

The retailers don't even know when they are taking deliveries, so at the moment it's anyone's guess. As far as i'm aware the club hasn't even confirmed the home kit design, and release is usually after that. (Obviously we know what the design is as we have worn it in pre season)

Beckham hasn't been selected for the Olympics, just been on radio 5.

Quite surprised to be honest, i thought he was a shoo-in given his role in the bidding etc.

Bayern should have won. On most given days they would have. Chelsea did play incredibly well and they defended amazingly. Cech did well diving the right way on every pen.
