Re: Sandro Tonali Deal Confirmed? You bet!

It's not going to change it dramatically no , but that is one of the reasons it isn't allowed.

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist

Will still probably get judged on Hazard though <gent> Always appreciate your insight, regardless if it turns out to be bollocks <laugh> It's a point of view that I'm sure isn't shared by the vast majority of people on here, and even the briefest of access to a world most of us can't even fathom. So...

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist

First impressions last a lifetime <roll> Funniest thing is at the time someone guessed he was talking about Yoshinori Muto, then we went and actually signed Muto a few weeks later 😅 <whistle> I also predicted him too. Actually remember being very excited about him just never looked comfortable in p...

Re: Football Titbits

That sounds like a laugh tbf They were buying me beer or a shot about every 15 minutes so by the time we started playing Bingo I was far too gone to pay attention and mark my cards in front of me so two lovely OAPs had to help me out. One of them prodded me to say I'd won and I stood up, shouted Bi...

Why are Leeds,Southampton and Leicester in that graph?

Is it that they're the predicted teams to go up?
They only have full wage data from last season to project with

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist

In related news, PL clubs voted in favour of an anchored finance cap for the 25/26 season (finer details to be ironed out in june) This rule would see an overall spending cap at 4x the tv revenue if the bottom placed team the previous season. In context of us it would have ment this season we would...

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist

Yeah I missed that Don suggested two defensive names. We'll need a decent goalkeeper backup right? Karius and maybe Dubravka will leave. I feel like this coaching staff has got the most out of our players. It used to be teams saying "that nufc player is under-utilised, we can get value from improvi...

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist

Been looking at the squad and I think it's possible we can still have a good summer of recruitment and we can still keep our best players. I think the key would be for us to try to get out as many of the fringe players and those who imo are not needed. Outs: Almiron (£20m) Wilson (£15m) Longstaff (...

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist

I don't think he will go tbh, believe he just bought a house in North East. But who knows money talks. As above says we have Tonali to come back and have scouted a few players who we could target Taylor, Ederson, Koopenmeiners etc I don’t pay much attention to the “he bought a house” argument. When...

Re: Dan Ashworth confirmed as gardening director

Overall I'll say he's good at his job and is always in demand. We kind of done the same to get him from Brighton albeit in a more open and transparent way, and agreed compensation, so there was little issue. From the outside it looks like he took us by surprise with accepting the man u role. 9/10 ti...
