The standing water is at least making it hard for them to pass it about. But it will also produce a few fouls where the ball stops short of where the defender thought it would.

I’m raging about that. Absolute anti football yet again. How can we be passing it around the back for minutes at a time when we’re losing? Every player absolutely desperate to turn around and pass it backwards. Sometimes even when it’s a harder pass.

Pickford would have reached that if he had normal length arms.
