Re: The Managerial Merry-Go-Round Thread

I understand his style of football isn’t pretty but he gets the best out of what he has. Such a bizarre sacking at this point of the season considering Burnley aren’t really an attractive prospect to take over regardless of position. I think that relegates them, no doubt Big Sam will be in the dugou...

Their crowd /team reminds me of us when weve gone down tbh
Was just about to post this. It’s absolutely toxic, if it’s this bad 0-0, it’ll boil over if we score.

It's all us. Not seen Bruno touch the ball yet mind.
He has been the orchestra dirigent behind our attack. Making fliks, passes on first touch. Class so far
His movement off the ball is amazing. He just ghosts between players to receive the ball, definitely going to be a star for us.

Re: Match Thread: Everton v Newcastle

Don’t want to jinx anything, but I can see us hammering them tonight. We go 1-0 up and the crowd will turn on them. Nah. They'll win 2 nil or 3 v 1. It'll somehow come together for them against us. They can't be s**** all the time. As Newcastle fans we can say a team can be s*** all the time, we’ve...

Re: Chelski Vs NUFC

Robbed. How that penalty wasn’t given is shocking! Other way round it’s a pen. Fair play to the lads for the shift they put in, shame for Burn having a lapse in concentration after having a phenomenal game prior.

On a positive note; Everton lost, so we can take some solace in that.

Re: Chelski Vs NUFC

Think we are playing fine. We are frustrating them and pressing high up the field. No doubt Chelsea will push harder in the second half but the longer it stays 0-0 we have a massive opportunity to catch them on the counter.

Re: NUFC v Aston Villa possibly three on the trot

Great win . I have to saw he’s one of the worst refs we’ve had . Didn’t let the game flow at all There was about a twenty minute spell around the offside goal where he gave a free kick for every slight touch on a Villa player, including a high foot against Joelinton which absolutely was before igno...

Anybody else see a lot of medics in the east stand around the 85th minute until full time?

Re: Match Thread: Newcastle v Everton

We could’ve had 5 goals tonight. ASM was unplayable and pushing the team forward. Trippier is just world class! Lascelles also played well in the second half.

Sunday is another big game that could leave us with 10 points out of 4 with a win.

HWTL!

Have to say I’m feeling a little deflated with seeing Bruno on the bench. Really think him starting would’ve been an extra boost to the atmosphere. Hope I’m wrong!

Re: Match Thread: Newcastle v Everton

So nervous for this. Huge game and will be a cracking atmosphere but it could go either way. Everton have the new manager bounce and a loss sees them dragged into the battle to avoid the drop. Fascinated to see the line up and if Howe will start Guimaraes who seems raring to go from his interviews. ...

Re: Dan Ashworth linked as director of football

A lot of Brighton fans seem to be in melt down over him leaving them. He’s held in high esteem and apparently did wonders on and off the field at Brighton so it’s looking like a great appointment! ( if he does come)

Re: January Transfer Rumours/Wishlist 21/22

That's essentially what man u reportedly demanded. 12m survival bonus. **** that, he's not even that good. Plus wages and loan fee, talking in excess of 16m for a loan, for a player that's out of contract in six months. Basically asking for more than he's worth in a transfer fee, without the securi...
