I fancy us, I'll take a 3-1 too.
Never in doubt.

I didn't think we did too bad. Willems was s*** and at fault for the goal. Schär wasn't at his best. Joelinton looked good though.
Very harsh, it was a very poor ball to him imo
I thought so too. He isn't blameless either but the pass was definitely poor.

Re: NUFC Minor/Untrusted Transfer Rumours (Summer 2019)

Wouldn't be surprised if we still played the 5-3-2 with Saint Maximin at #10 with Miggy dropping into CM, also if we wanted a more flexible 11 we could maybe switch to a 4-3-3 with Ritchie moving to CM and Dummett shifting out to LB allowing Miggy to push forward to make a front 3 <scratch> Obvious...

Re: NUFC Minor/Untrusted Transfer Rumours (Summer 2019)

a 433 with Almiron-Joelinton-Saint-Maximin up front seems promising on paper. Just have to hope the new arrivals adapt somewhat quickly.

Re: Joelinton to sign tomorrow?

It seems to have become fashionable to be that fan who is critical of everything, lets be honest the people who complain about this transfer will be the exact same ones that would have said "another one missed" it he signed for wolves, if news broke that Hoffenheim wanted £40m but we were only will...

Re: Joelinton to sign tomorrow?

I do not have a good feeling about this dude. I don't believe the skill set matches the price tag and I hope he's able to put that aside and just get to work. West Ham got Haller at a similar price and he's a much better player

Re: Other Clubs Transfer Deals (Summer 2019)

I guess we'll see if Rondon stays longer than their first big player signing (Gaitin). But he and Rafa will enjoy their sweet, sweet Wanda money (I'm not judging players or managers for getting paid). I find it hard to judge but I guess it's more my competitive personality. I'd want to compete at a...

right? I'm constantly baffled at how poor pro players can be at PK's. Luis freaking Suarez just had an awful kick over the weekend that got Uruguay eliminated from Copa America.

Re: Perez Leaving

and so the purge goes on. This tweet from Andrew sums it up for me https://twitter.com/ADMusgrove/status/1146168248859340800 25 goals gone. No proven PL scorers. No manager. Transfer window has been open for a month plus and we haven't signed anyone, and the end of that streak appears to be nowhere ...

Re: The next manager?

I'm so apathetic over all this now, I've always tried to remain positive and interested through all of Mike Ashley's reign, through the worst of the pardew/carver/mcclaren years, but now I just feel fully defeated, I honestly don't care we have no manager, no coaches, no transfers, a depleted squad...

and look how he was treated after getting the club back to the PL and back-to-back mid-table finishes. I fail to see how that doesn't scare good managers from coming to NUFC. Van Bronckhorst's outspoken interest on the job is actually somewhat of a red flag to me As the second sentence in my post s...

Re: The next manager?

Who is going to come in here with strings attached to all limbs? Seriously guys. The only reason a manager would come here is for money and a nice leather seat in his office. I just went into the kitchen and washed my hands. Was a short and sweet journey registering on this forum. But alas. My pati...

It would be quite nice to see Muto play to be fair.

Re: Rafa leaving official confirmation

the transfer window got going at the beginning of June, is that right? so 24 days in we have no manager, the dark cloud of hope we may get rid of Ashley, no clue as to whether the club has a replacement lined up for Rafa, no hope any manager actually wants to come here with all the uncertainty, and ...

Don't forget the new midfield partnership of Colback and Saivet <roll>
midfield won't matter, Clark/Fernandez will just feed them the long balls <dotheameobi>
