Re: NUFC supporter clubs in Scotland

Haven't been on here for a while. Gutted that the hibs game was mid week, would have been good if it was on the Saturday, could have been a good opportunity to get a meet up and few beers.

Re: NUFC supporter clubs in Scotland

Yeah I'd be up for that. Giving up my season ticket at the end of the season and will just make it down for a few games a season now but id be more than happy to meet up for a beer if we are on TV.

Re: Edinburgh Derby

Anyone know which pubs will be showing the Edinburgh derby? I know Scottish football isn't thought of much down south but its a big game for us Edinburgh folk. A win for Hearts to warm me up for an other 3 for Newcastle would be perfect. Mega s*** day all round d for you ! and my horse fell. Proper...

Re: The Miguel Almiron Thread

If this lad does sign, does that mean Rafa stays after the summer? Would MA really give him £20m to spend on one player if he's leaving in a few months time? No. £20m really isn't that much money in football anymore. True its not a lot in the grand scheme of things, but given our transfer record it...

Re: F.A cup match thread - NUFC v Blackburn

Not seen any of the match but reading on here i dont plan to watch any of it now. Rafa won't be getting a penny more to spend, why would you give him money when he won't be here next season. We all know he's had a tight budget but even then he's not used it well.

Re: Protest Plans

So staying in the concourse for an extra 11 mins and have a extra pint. Where does the money from that pint go to? Yeah lets protest by giving Ashley more money. You want to protest do it properly and dont buy season tickets!

Re: Protest Plans

Anyone else think Protesting outside a Sports Direct shop is cringy? Is Ashley inside the store? No. Does he give a s*** about a handful of people standing outside a stores he's not in? No. Funnily enough there has been very little get out of our club chants in the last 2 games. Must be cause we are...

Re: Rodgers in?

Rangers fans seemed to think they were good enough to challenge them. Deluded bunch. But from your original post, it appeared that you suggested they were able to challenge them... so does that make you deluded? well no cause all i said rangers were back in the top flight, as the comment i replied ...

Re: Rodgers in?

Rangers were back in the top flight when Rodgers took over celtic. Hes won back to back trebles while rangers have been in the picture. They were back in the top flight but nowhere even close to where they used to be. It's only now they look like being closer again. Rangers fans seemed to think the...

Re: Rodgers in?

This. He's certainly smug and more than a little Brent-ish. But a good coach with a decent record. He'd be among the top of my short list. With rangers being out of the picture for pretty much the entirity of his time in Scotland it's really hard to attribute much of Celtics 'success' to the coachi...

Re: Is there ANYTHING positive about NUFC ?

We have had probably the most difficult start to a season playing all the top teams. We have been narrowly beaten 2-1 in each of the games by clubs who spent millions (i know spurs haven't but they have in the past few seasons). When we play the "lesser" teams and aren't taking points I'll then sta...
