Bloody ell I've forgotten how cheap the beer is in Budapest!
More context. Less than £2 a pint and 65p a can. Hungarian wine not too bad either

I'm sorry if I've missed something but where are you getting £100k a week from?
Google most websites on footballers supposed salaries and it’s the answer that comes out.
That's f***ing ridiculous if that's true. Jesus.

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist

On Targett, well as he did when we initially signed him….£100k a week!! Jesus wept. Even if he’s sold, nobody is paying that wage so we either sell on the cheap or we have to subsidise his wages as he won’t take a pay cut (and why should he, he get given a contract). I don’t mind if he stays tbh, i...

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Blades

Possibly one of the least deserved 5-1 wins of all time, genuinely fortunate that Sheff Utd are as s*** as they are. Bruno milked the crowd as standard but had a poor game generally, giving the ball away repeatedly and trying to force things that just weren't there instead of having some patience a...

Re: Fouls and Yellow cards

Depends on the the challenge for me. Pisses me off when a blatant yellow isn’t given because “it’s early in the game”. Doesn’t matter if it’s the first minute or the last minute, if it’s a yellow card worthy foul then give the booking. What I don’t like is petty yellow’s early on for a tiny shirt p...

Off work for almost two weeks and off to Budapest > Vienna > Bratislava for a holiday to celebrate my 40th.

Looking like it could be pretty decent weather too!
Sounds great!

Fouls and Yellow cards

Just watching QPR v Leeds. Gnonto just tried to slide tackle a QPR player. He missed and it was his first foul. But in this day and age it's classed as yellow. And he received one. My question is... Do you prefer how the game is played now where any strong challenge or missed tackle could be met wit...

Will be glad to see the back of him, has pretty much shown himself up to be a bit of a prick. He knew the conditions of his contract when he signed, just like he knew coming here was a long term project. Feel like he's someone getting carried away with his own hype.
So this!

Manure basically have four of the same fixtures as us. Except they have Arsenal away and we have Brentford away.
Before tonight it would have been five. They beat Sheffield Utd who we have next and we lost to Palace who they have away on the 6th May.

Chelsea losing 3 nil to Arsenal. Good for our Euro chances.
