Craig Hope on Twitter reporting:
“Understand more Covid cases at NUFC training ground this week. More test results tomorrow & would appear likely request for Southampton postponement will be made.”

Re: European super league
Think that's the thing. The concept they've signed up to suggests they will keep on playing domestic football and as much at the PL, FA, UEFA et al can say clubs will be banned from playing in their leagues and their players from internationals, when push comes to shove will those bodies really want...

Re: WEEKEND FOOTBALL - 16/19 APRIL 2021
We’re definitely safe now...no way Fulham are winning at least 4 of their last 5 to catch us. Don't fully agree though that late goal today has made it far more likely. Given our fixtures still a chance we could go into that final day with Fulham still able to reach us but, granted, they are going ...

Re: Match days thread - Burnley v NUFC
Looking at the next five, what's everyone's thoughts on our approach to those games. Coming away with any points (bar Arsenal, we can get something there) for me the key is our GD. Do not want to be going into that final game of the season with the risk of being relegated on GD.

“A really inspired substitution from Steve Bruce”. Bringing on our best player when losing 1-0. Inspired.

Re: Match days thread - Burnley v NUFC
Got to be honest, I haven't switched it on. It was all so predictable and come to pass so far.
I look forward to being told tomorrow by the likes of Barry Glendenning that we are competing with the likes of Everton depsite another abject display and utter ineptitude by our so-called manager.

Re: Match thread - Nufc v Spurs
Clark clearly dropped due to his comments during the week. I think the key here is the squad probably is good enough but they do not have the management to get anything close to consistently good out of them. Yeah, we've had some bad injuries but even when we did have Wilson, Saint-Maximin and Almi...

Re: Bruce staying
I need to clarify something. I'm not actually saying the players don't care. I would be shocked if they, or at least most, didn't. They are like any other groups of players or employees. You could be among the best of what you do (they aren't, see below) but still not perform because you are not mot...
