Re: Travelling Europe

Once again, thanks guys, I knew I could count on getting some solid advice from here! I'll keep all you've said in mind, some very tempting suggestions have been made. I'll definitely be traveling via Eurorail, as most of you have said Scandinavia is extremely expensive so I'm not entirely sure abou...

Re: Travelling Europe

Thanks fellas, much appreciated! Italy is must really, especially as I'm interested in studying History later on. And you're all spot on about the temperatures, I think I'll work my way up Eastern Europe as it gets warmer. I plan on ending with Germany/Holland/Belgium before making my way back to Fr...

Travelling Europe

After spending a while focusing on travelling to Australia for my gap year I've had second thoughts and the idea of exploring the sights of Europe has sprung to mind. I was just wondering if any of you have ever visited, or are currently living in any area outside of France and the UK? If so where a...

Re: Newcastle in talks over Gomis transfer

Darren Bent is a slightly better player than Bafetimbi Gomis, but considering that Gomis has a better character and probably has a few more years left I'd go for the Frenchman.
As long as we sign ANOTHER striker, in addition to Bent I'll be happy. Many of us agree that Bent alone would be piss-poor.

Kinnear Apoligizes

While having a pop at Shearer: http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896/premier-league/2013/06/23/4068075/- The 66-year-old brands the former striker's recent comments "diabolical" but also admits that he himself has a tendency to "lose the plot" due to his fiery nature Newcastle director of football Joe...

Re: Ben Arfa keen to discuss new contract

I wouldn't get your hopes up, I remember him saying that he'd only stick with us if we showed ambition and I haven't seen very much of that lately. Especially if we sign Bent <disgrace> One young, proven striker through the door and all will be fine. If this players happens to be Aubameyang then I m...

Re: Newcastle Appoint Joe Kinnear as Director of Football

What's next? Convincing Michael Owen to come out of retirement by paying him 700k/week on an 8 year contract? I would actually gain a lot of respect for both Pardew and Carr if they walked. Indeed, that's probably what the halfwit Ashley wants but right now but they deserve better, even Alan himself...

Re: Cabaye Leaving? Thread

I'm with you. First everyone saying that Cabaye is going to leave because he hates Pardew, but now he's going to leave because someone (who he probably has never heard of) is going to undermine the guy he allegedly doesn't like? Hardly. If they're going to leave, there are plenty of other reasons w...
