Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Citeh

Outcome we all expected. Always feels pointless to draw conclusions after Man City games but season feels like it’s fizzling out already. Can’t decide if Ashworth going is a positive or negative for Howe’s future this summer.

Re: 23/24 NUFC Kits Thread

Anyone else received anything yet? I'm at two weeks post order with nothing, even with their "7-10 days for personalised shirts" it's late. Feel like mine arrived within a week. I contacted their customer order after the order error and they replied almost instantly so perhaps drops them a message....

Well that makes his bizarrely sporadic minutes even stranger.
Someone please check on Don Sholeone.

Re: Weekend football - 2/4 March 2024

I know Derby have the worst record with 7 points and all - but there's definitely an argument for Sheff Utd being the worst Premier League side in history. As s**** as Derby were I don't remember them getting spanked with so many heavy losses like this. Just awful - as bad as we were at least it wa...

Re: 23/24 NUFC Kits Thread

Got the confirmation email. Lo and f***ing behold it has the wrong size listed against my top.

Have sent an email to the address provider but fully expecting nothing to happen and the wrong size to still turn up in a month’s time anyway.

I knew this was a bad idea.

Kids kits now down to £16 because why wouldn't you discount them all at the same time...
Just managed to spend about £80 on Castore clobber (but got a free tshirt thrown in). Cant wait to see how poor the quality is. If it is awful then I’m sorry but Howe has to go.

Thanks for the tip. Might have to get some for the kids. I’m apprehensive about buying Castore with their patchy quality. What size would people recommend buying? I’m usually an L…

This Burn thing is such a weird hill for Howe to die on. Squad has been decimated by injuries so why add more scrutiny?

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist

Obviously being picked off by a rival and losing him so soon is undoubtedly a set back but impact of losing DOF would be difficult to assess. He’s not been here long enough to judge if he’s been successful or not. Just because he’s highly regarded doesn’t automatically mean whatever he does will be ...

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist

Agree with those outgoings. Although would prefer us to keep Joelinton, he is crucial to the way we play under Howe. Don't need me to point out we've not had anything close to a fully fit squad since September - do we even know what our best XI yet? Makes me wonder if the club will want to keep its ...

I’m definitely shower > bath.

I’ve had 2-3 baths in the last 5 years.

Give me a massive walk in shower any day.
I read something very different at first glance.

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist

Chelsea also want £80m for Connor Gallagher which is laughable, but shows where the market is. But it does highlight where we are with our squad at the moment, outside our star players we've nobody that we could sell for that much to enable us to make big moves elsewhere. ASM went for what, £20m or...
