Re: Ashley Agrees to Newcastle for £350m

MIKE ASHLEY has agreed to sell Newcastle for £350million to the cousin of Manchester City’s Arab owner Sheikh Mansour. SunSport understands contracts have been signed and submitted to the Premier League between Ashley and Dubai-based billionaire Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan. He is a senior me...

Re: Rafa Benitez reveals 'positive' talks over his Newcastle United future

The guarantees will be around money available and potentially the authority to sign players over a certain age I suspect. As Colly says, you can’t stipulate signing a specific player as ultimately that decision falls to the club who owns them and the player themselves. Well yeah was thinking more a...

Re: Rafa Benitez reveals 'positive' talks over his Newcastle United future

Surely a stipulation of him signing will be that we sign Rondon? I don't want to get my hopes too high but surely!

Re: Match day thread - BHA v NUFC live in BT sports

This is so bizarre, it's like Brighton have given up from the first minute. Still expecting them to scab a win somehow though!

The community sort of migrated to Footybite.com - that's where I get my streams from.

Re: Match thread - Toon v Huddersfield

Feeling more of a dour 0-0 with us showing absolutely zero attacking threat and Almiron to only get a 10 minute cameo replacing Rondon.

Re: Who was your first Newcastle United idol?

Player I first noticed from Newcastle was Les Ferdinand, my mate had one of those bobble head things of him which was the first I ever knew of the team. First player I would say I idolised was probably Emre, which I want to stress was purely for his footballing ability and not his racial and politic...

Re: Match thread - Spurs v Toon

Happy enough with how we've played there - will forgive Dubravka a clanger or two - another few performances like that but with more pace on the break from Almiron and I think we'll be fine.

Solid team and a decent bench <notbad>

Will be interesting to see if Kenedy takes his chance to earn his spot back or is w*** as he's been all season.

I must admit im a little concerned about Rafas reaction to the goal. Does having his own way really matter more to him than scoring a goal? thats f***ing nuts.

Re: Match day thread: Chelsea v Newcastle (Sat, 5.30pm)

So bored of this s***, didn't watch the game but from the sounds of it that final corner sums up the negativity that has been pervasive all season. Just want it to be over already so we can get on with something a bit more interesting, whether that's in the Championship, or the Prem with a manager w...

Why was Muto dropped? Thought he looked great when he was getting minutes, then just disappears.

Also Atsu is a void of technical ability. Genuinely has negative end product.

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2

Didn't play the first one so maybe I'm missing something story-wise but this game just feels really clunky, slow and generally void of fun. Albeit I'm only about 10 hours in so I presume it gets better? Do they mix up the missions so it's something other than, spend 10 minutes riding somewhere, shoo...
