Just came across a friend of a friend on Facebook who’s name is... Tory Hoare. That’s gotta be tough

Reports saying that Kimi won't have a seat at Ferrari next season after he didn't win the Italian GP.

Looks like Vettel will get a new subservient number 2 team mate next year.
Shame. Hopefully someone like McLaren will pick him up, it'd be a great shame to lose him from the grid.

Cracking race. Great drive from Hamilton, Merc strategists called it right today too.
Yes one of the best non-wet race for a good while, really enjoyed it. Great racing and interesting strategy.

Re: Match day thread - Citeh v NUFC

You know what, we’ve lost 3 games against 3 of the 4 best teams in the division, 2-1 each time, and in all 3 of those games I think we’re well within our rights to be miffed about 3 from dodgy refs and one wonder strike... if we can defend this well against lesser teams, we will be fine for the seas...

Re: The F1 Thread

Bloody hell! Crashes in the last two races have been BIG. The halo must have helped in both instances but why are the crashes so spectacular all of a sudden? Alonso crash was due to the plank caught coming from behind and the wheel lock tech working which threw him upwards as the wheels don't detac...

I love Kenedy but f***ing hell. That was s****.

Not that anyone else was much better. Shelvey was poor except for 2 passes in the first half. Most angry I’ve been watching Newcastle in a good while.

Re: Profits without fan attendance

Exactly. Fans stop going and the TV deals plummet as no one wants to watch an empty stadium on TV. While I'd like to see cheaper tickets I don't feel particularly ripped off at Newcastle, my ticket is cheaper than it was ten years ago and now on monthly direct debit rather than all in one go. That'...

Re: Profits without fan attendance

Where does that excel spreadsheet data come from though? I'm not saying it's not true, but from my point of view it's just numbers without any real context. That guy usually does his own stuff. But he’s calculated it wrong here - you have to subtracted matchday income from revenue first, and then f...

Signed him on a Monday and he looked so fine,
Da do ron Ron-don, da do Ron-don.
He's gonna be our number nine,
Da do ron Ron-don , a do Ron-don.
Yeah, he's on the Tyne,
Yeah, he's our number nine,
When he scores all the time,

Re: The Marlon Santos Thread (£1.5m loan fee agreed; awaiting work permit)

Given that we needed a hearing for a 25 time capped Japanese international who cost 9.5m and was given wages over 45k, I sincerely doubt we will get a work permit for 12 time U20 Brazil player who has played a total of 25 senior top flight appearances for a measly 1.5m loan fee That's not how it wo...

Tell me about it. I’m not anti-Corbyn but the way he and especially his supporters are treating this antisemitism thing is just appalling. The abuse on twitter for people who dare criticise Dear Leader is outrageous.
