Re: The Message of Hate Thread

It's the same with Windrush, they aren't criticising the f***ing botched handling of it (whoevers fault it actually was) it's the fact she didn't cry when it was going on. Just f***ing daft man, attack the thing that's happened, the system and you've got loads of f***ing ammo, don't attack the perso...

Re: The Message of Hate Thread

Personally, I don't give a s*** if she cried or not, I just can't believe the brass neck on her to mention it in her speech. The Governments response to Grenfell was utterly shameful, both in the immediate aftermath and even now when there are still people without homes and dangerous buildings. No ...

Re: The Message of Hate Thread

The whole criticising Theresa May for crying today but not crying over Grenfell. It's just so impossibly stupid on so many levels I can barely even comprehend it.

Re: The Local Non-League Thread

The new ground thing has rumbled on for a decade, I'd 100% want it to happen but it's all about money, the council not wanting to lose their main tenants at the GIS and suitable grounds.

Great news, will you still be playing at the international stadium?
That will be the aim. Hopefully the council give it all a quick go ahead.

Re: The Local Non-League Thread

Supporter led takeover has been completed.

Lots of hard work to be done but I didn't think we'd even get this far.

Re: The Managerial Merry-Go-Round Thread

Don't think it's as much of a leap up technically or tactically as people think, you're still managing the same game and the same rules apply at any level. If you're a good manager you can be a good manager at any level. Main difference is the pressure and the ability to deal with global stars in th...

Re: Game of Thrones

The books will either be amazing because Martin has been holding off on his ending to go against what people hated on TV or they will be exactly the same for the same reasons people are meh in the show I.e. it's hard to keep the 'charm' and excitement the deeper you get Yeah I agree. Maune they'll ...

Re: Game of Thrones

I think that was a rushed season.. But ultimately the books might also have a disappointing end. A story build on complexity and moral greyness had to reduce to good versus evil and lost vitality. I think with time people will mellow and remem Er how good a show it has been. I've watched a few old ...

Re: Game of Thrones

SpoilerShow
Whole point of the series is that nothing has changed, the cycle continues. Only disappointment for me is lack of explanation for the walkers but I think they've been hamstrung this season due to upcoming prequels.

Ok as a last episode but not the blowout I was expecting

Re: Man City referred to Uefa financial body

Would rather have the ability/hope to spend big than have the old guard in charge. FFP in it's current guise is just an attempt to establish a sort of franchise football in which no one can challenge. If you want actual fair play you'd establish a realistic wage cap. Agree about the wage cap, I wou...

Re: Game of Thrones

like ok. She's mad and gried stricken. But even in that state she'd go straight for cersei not just burn the streets full of innocents. They are not who she hates. It made no sense as a rampage. She has said stuff about burning King's Landing to the ground to make a point though if i recall correct...
