Re: Pavel's eBar

Tweaked my shoulder at a water park last Monday, it's no big deal I've done it a couple of times before. Put a heat pad on it towards the end of last week and since then my actual shoulder is fine but it's like the pain has moved down my back to the bottom of my shoulder blade. I think I'm getting o...

Re: NUFC Minor/Untrusted Transfer Rumours (Summer 2019)

I'd have Perez over Mata. Mata has more quality than Perez but the defensive work that Perez put in last year was the best in the league for an attacking player, massively underrated part of his game. And Mata runs a bit like he's towing a caravan now.

Re: Game of Thrones

SpoilerShow
Was always going to be slightly underwhelming as the second half of it was just tying up loose ends. Whilst not the thrilling ending that people always wanted, it made sense.

Did think that Tyrion was going to suggest Sansa for the throne though.

Re: Playoffs

Charlton 1-0 up within 2 minutes, 3-1 up on aggregate, likely to face Sunderland in the final.

Re: Game of Thrones

It completed his character arc perfectly. In the very first episode he said 'The things we do for love' and it summed it up. He went full circle from Kingslayer to a good, honourable man and yet still his love for Cersei was his weakness. He went North because of his new found honour yet returned t...

Yeah Loftus-Cheek is going nowhere. Can see Mount going out on loan again, would be a good signing I think.

Re: Game of Thrones

Cersei’s death was a massive letdown I thought. Jamie 100% should have killed her. And him going back to her really f***ed his character arc in a pretty indefensible way. It completed his character arc perfectly. In the very first episode he said 'The things we do for love' and it summed it up. He ...

Re: Game of Thrones

That really was immense. Dany never knew about the scorpions when she attacked with both dragons, it caught her off guard. This time she was prepared so started from a higher point and used the sun to her advantage. Pretty simple really. She's been mad for seasons now. She's threatened Tyrion with ...

Re: Match thread - NUFC v Liverpool (final home game)

It's blatant every season and whoever speaks out about it is punished heavily, Warnock got fined more for criticism of officials than some have for racist chanting!, You should 100% get a larger punishment for racism, i.e. one strike match behind closed doors and heavy fine two strikes kicked out o...

Re: Match thread - NUFC v Liverpool (final home game)

Kinda annoyed by how much petty whinging there's been from our fans since the loss. It was one of our most exciting matches of the season, even though our defending was diabolical at points (Lescelles has really taken a step back this season), and yes there were questionable calls, but it isn't som...

Re: Match thread - NUFC v Liverpool (final home game)

Can I just hold my hands up and say I thought Atsu was alright today? I mean the goal was a tap in, but he was definitely more productive than usual. I'd still have hauled him off on 70 for Muto at the point where he was getting in on goal but refusing to shoot, but definitely an improvement on usu...

Re: Match thread - NUFC v Liverpool (final home game)

City will lose one of their last 2 games thanks to bad refereeing. The FA are desperate for Liverpool to win it, have been all season.

Re: Match thread - NUFC v Liverpool (final home game)

f***ing livid. TAA and Milner should have both seen red. And Ritchie never even put in a challenge for the free kick at the end. They just gave it because that's what they were paid to do. Cheating f***ing cronuts.

Re: Match thread - NUFC v Liverpool (final home game)

100% his fault. It had gone past Origi already. Lascelles caught under the ball yet again for the 3rd time in this game. So whats Lascelles supposed to do then, not contest the ball? Judge it a lot better? He's stepping forward too much, too early so he can't get a jump on the ball(on the 3rd goal).

Lascelles needs to **** off.
Not his fault, if he doesn't touch it then Origi does.
