Re: World Cup 2018 Match Thread

France were worthy winners the game against Argentina being the highlight for me. Great final too one of the best I can remember Definitely the most entertaining and open final that I can remember. One of my highlights was Spain 3-3 Portugal. My favorite goal was the Belgian counter-attack v Japan ...

Lloris has had a fantastic World Cup. He drops a few clangers but he's a world class goalkeeper without a doubt.

Re: Other Clubs Transfers Summer 2018/19

Dummett and Perez have both improved under him, and I'd argue the fact he's got ridden of pretty much our entire U23 squad speaks more for their raw ablity as players rather than his ability to develop them. Both established first team players rather than young prospects though. In 2 and a bit year...

In 2002 Germany got to the final playing Ireland, Cameroon, Saudi Arabia, Paraguay, USA and South Korea.

Brazil played Costa Rica, China, Turkey, Belgium(when they were s***), England and Turkey.

That save from Lloris was sensational. That follow up from Godin was the complete opposite.

Re: Other Clubs Transfers Summer 2018/19

Looks like Zinchenko may be on his way to Wolves for £16m. Hard to judge his potential but he looked quite decent when he played for Man C last season, although playing in that team obviously helps. £16m isn't a lot nowadays and he's only 21, might have been worth a look as a LB / wingback to rotat...

Local journalists have denied that Sturaro is a target.
They knew jack s*** about the Ki deal so that doesn't necessarily mean anything tbf.
True but to outright deny it means they might know something.

Tbh I find his never ending desire to be the best year after year despite all that he's won pretty amazing. He's a mental and physical winning machine.
