Re: Match day thread - Burnley v NUFC

Not sure why people are kissing Rafa's backside after 3 wins. I remember a few years back we had a manager who would win 4 or 5 on the bounce after a s*** run on a semi regular basis(normally in November weirdly).

Re: Rafael Benitez: Does Newcastle Utd manager have St James' Park future?

Why on earth would we judge him on his Liverpool signings? Even ignoring the fact that Liverpool fans have told us that for every top player there was half a dozen donkeys (which we can't afford to do), it's his transfer record here that's relevant. This. I'd add that it doesn't help your argument ...

Re: Rafael Benitez: Does Newcastle Utd manager have St James' Park future?

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46279098 Article by Guillem Balague on BBC Sport, doesn't really say anything that we don't already know. I suppose my main thought is how much money would it take in January for Rafa to be convinced to sign a new contract. If he's given £20m to spend I doubt th...

Re: Football Manager

Not got into an FM game since 2012. Think they've gone downhill to be honest. Which ones have you got? I think there’s more of an up front time investment these days to get up to speed on it, but I find it pretty intuitive after about half a season’s play time. And the new systems are way better th...

2 more goals for him in the end.
But he's not ready. No way can a player be ready before he's 22.

Re: Rafa Out?

Colly, Heisen and Lidl hit the nail on the head for me. Top posts that pretty much say all I can say and put them together and it shows why I would be more than happy for him to go. We are Newcastle United. We will never be the best side in the land, winning trophy after trophy. We need excitement, ...

Re: Match thread - Southampton v NUFC

He's not s***, but I'm still unconvinced he's suited to anything other than a top 6 side with money (in any nation), and I think he's completely given up. Give it to Shola til the end of the season. Yeah I just wanted to endorse the general sentiment. He obviously isn't s***, his record proves that...

Jimmy Bullard is currently unattached.
Contracted to Soccer AM, we wouldn't pay that transfer fee.

Might as well stick this lad in next weekend, can't be worse than what we've got an the moment.
I think him, Longstaff and Roberts are all pushing for a place. No chance they get a game, if by some miracle they do it'll be 5 minutes.

So what other available manager do you think would have gotten us to p10 last season? Sure, he's made mistakes, but to say he's been s*** in his time here is f***ing absurd.
Which other manager could have us bottom this season? Oh wait...

Re: Match day thread - NUFC v Brighton

He's a s*** manager living off his past glories. In 2 and a half years we've seen nothing that stands out as brilliant management. Just a bloke who whines constantly about not having enough money to spend and rips into his squad publicly for not being good enough. He took us down(although he was la...

Re: Match day - Man U v NUFC

Rafa has to go, absolutely f***ing shocking again. Awful substations & awful game management. Like every game so far this season. Wind your neck in. World class team with hundreds of millions worth of players. Yeah we were overly negative in the second half, but they figured out how to be a good te...

Why have we decided to come out and sit back? Get after them!
I know it's tough because they're coming at us but we're sending every player back. There's no outlet.
