Re: NUFC Takeover Petition

Haven't read the petition (got better things to do with my time), but if the complaint is that the EPL didn't just dismiss the takeover out of hand then yes I will sign. Otherwise not a chance in hell.

Re: Toon Takeover Thread - PIF Pull Out

People need to think twice before celebrating this, if the stuff coming out is true, the delay was constructed to keep power balance, not an ounce of blame has been put towards Piracy claims, they are even on record saying it was never put forward as an issue but the consortium tried to help solve ...

Re: Toon Takeover Thread - PIF Pull Out

I don't think I have the words to fully express how delighted I am that this deal has fallen through ... so i'll have to settle for a dancing Shola!

Re: Toon Takeover Thread

Even ignoring for a moment the issues relating to the tv broadcasting or human rights violations, there are purely footballing reasons why the FA should block this deal. The Saudi regime bans women from participating in football, either as players or as supporters. A position which is in direct oppo...

That could be filed as a dictionary example for the term "bore score draw".

On replay looked like his body got turned slightly in the air. Still would've expected him to hit the target though.

Joelinton on, high chance that a football is ending up in the English Channel.
DonkeyToon should go stand in the garden. He might catch it.
Good idea. It would have the added benefit of causing me to miss the rest of the game.

Re: Match day thread: Brighton v Newcastle

So Watts was a striker with a hat-trick under his belt. Why is it we have defenders that are better at scoring goals than our forwards?

Re: Match day thread: Brighton v Newcastle

I missed the first ten minutes or so watching the end of the cricket. Judging by the rest of the half it would appear I was lucky. What happened in the cricket? England won by 113 runs. Was a great days cricket, England bowled really well. So 1 all in the series and cannot wait for the decider.

Re: Pavel's eBar

My 2008 Nissan Note 1.4 is still going strong. It's a truly s*** car to drive but cheap as hell to run, maintain and insurance is about £40 a month full cover for me and the missus. I do less than 2500 miles per year so fine for nipping to the local tip or supermarket. I'm the same. I've got a 2004...

Re: Match day thread _ Watford v NUFC

11th in form after losing the last two, so like DS said we were one of the in form teams before those last two results. Also 11th best means we have overperformed compared to our current 13th place position. So as DS said the reactions are somewhat hyperbolic. Generally speaking I have never unders...
