Re: Banner over Stadium of Light
I'm not filling myself full of false outrage over it. Nothing false about this outrage, I genuinely find it crude and upsetting. I feel as though it is using the fact a small boy has cancer as the basis of a bad joke. When you consider how other clubs and their fans havcome together in support of B...

Re: Banner over Stadium of Light
Who actually thinks "Well, now Sunderland have been relegated, I will celebrate by decorating my dining room chair" I mean seriously?! <worried> God help the world. I think it's hilarious, and at the same time I would be embarrassed if I was a geordie <laugh> It's the effort this person has gone to...

Re: WEEKEND FOOTBALL - 5 to 8 MAY 2017
I would like to see Hull stay up as well - But mainly for Marco Silva, he's done a fantastic job since being appointed so it would be a shame to see the slip back into the Championship.Acid Hippo wrote:It'll be a shame if Hull go down now as well. 3 northern teams being replaced by possibly only 1.

Re: Banner over Stadium of Light
The best thing to do would have been to completely ignore the fact that they'd been relegated. That would have driven them insane. Instead our f***ing arsehole fans do stuff like this: https://pbs-h2.twimg.com/media/C_PoBZnW0AAgUV5.jpg Relagated <laugh> He could make a toilet out of that with a jig...

Re: Banner over Stadium of Light
It's really f***ing annoyed me like. Social media gives these daft cronuts a pedestal and they end up doing s*** like this and that god-awful "You'll do for me, bonny lad" SBR/Rafa thing. FML <erk> Indeed we do... i've spent more time being embarrased by our fanbase over the last week or so than I ...

Re: Final match day thread- NUFC V Barnsley
Ashley has done his wrongs but the paranoia over him is becoming tiresome imo, everytime anything happens it's always a case of questioning him even if it's nothing to do with him, it's become ingrained in the fanbase that they have to trash on him or question him as an owner at every turn, I under...

Re: Banner over Stadium of Light
"United by cancer, divided by leagues" Am I the only one who thinks this is painfully crude and exceptionally poor taste? I think it's hilarious! It's not actually the line they are going to use is it? <erk> As AP has stated it's in very poor taste and it comes across as small time and quite petty....

Re: Moyes stays!!!
My favourite post on RTG was someone claiming that Moyes had single handedly f***ed them, like they've not been s**** for 9 of the last 10 years. <laugh> RTG has been a great laugh recently. One of the main reasons I wanted Sunderland to go down so much was simply to read the comments on there. Lit...

Re: General Election 2017
100% - To most people Farage is UKIP and probably a big part in them voting for UKIP. Which is somewhat understandable, because as much I detest some of his views on the world, he is a very personable individual. Paul Nuttall seems to be the complete opposite to him in that department, just seems t...

Re: General Election 2017
They have lost all the seats that they were defending <laugh> Goes to show that they've simply been a flash in the pan party, thanks to far-right voters. Similar to how the BNP were a few years ago in the European elections. Absolutely. Farage standing down really hit them it seems, he really appea...

Tories are cleaning up here as far as local elections are concerned, Labour are losing seats all over. Best news is UKIP losing the majority of their seats I suppose. Re: Moyes stays!!!
I think Moyes staying is probably the best thing for Sunderland right now. Who else would they realistically given their current position? Karanka maybe, but I'm not sure whether he would be the right man for the job. He's been damaged goods since the fiasco last year when he walked out on Boro.

Tonight has been the hardest part so far - Haven't really given alcohol any thought until walking past my local pub this evening. It looked ever so inviting, with the log fire on while I walked past freezing my t*** off.

Re: Links to other clubs' main forums
Just been having a catch up on RTG this morning while on the way into work. The way they're going on about Pickford made me chuckle. Let us just imagine for one moment that we were in their position, we had a rated GK as our No.1 and were getting excited about him. We would be mocked as delusional a...

Re: Match Thread: Derby vs Newcastle 10/09/2016
If only he was someone at the club who could go out and buy players that were needed. Someone like the manager. He bought Boumsong... The amount of money he paid for Boumsong was frightening too. Especially considering he'd only played a handful of times for Rangers. Still, he debut against Yeading...

Re: This transfer window
We could hardly go out and sign loads of Prem quality players could we. We are a championship club at then end of the day. Apologies, I don't don't think I came across clear enough. I'm not saying we need players who are Premiership Quality. We should sign players who are able to make the step up, ...
