Re: Charnley Arrested

Looks like the warrants may have been unlawful <scratch>.

Naturally RTG disagree with this and are advising our club against messing with HMRC. It's a sure sign of guilt that the club are even daring to question it <laugh>.

Re: Carr Gone

I'm sure Rafa will Carr-y on the recruitment process without him. Not sure how I feel about this, he found us the likes of Cabaye, Tiote, Debuchy, Ben Arfa, Ba & Papiss (1st season) on the other hand he brought in Sissokko, Thauvin, Marveaux, Cabella & Papiss (rest of the time he was with u...

Re: Jimmy Prout murder case

Just absolutely grim reading in the reports in the Chron today. Makes me ashamed to come from the same city as them. It's worse than the Bulger killing , spread out over months and months. You wonder what other stuff is happening in this country right now that we will only find out about when it's ...

I'd be going for a Chile win.

Cheapest place we could find IIRC. Stayed in the Ramada in Gateshead which was pretty nice <notbad>

There aren't many areas that could possibly be cheaper than Fenham to be honest.

The ones my wife use don't make it look like you're stepping out onto the stage on Stars in their Eyes thankfully. Doesn't look too bad and far more pleasant than cigarette smoke. You can smoke them inside in a lot of places too, Bridge Tavern in town for instance.

This is why I have a man cave. Thankfully my wife doesn't watch that mindless bollocks but she does watch wanky crime shows like CSI. I just sit in my room and play on my XBox and everyone is happy.

I have to keep telling people that Corbyn only does all these nice things because cameras are there to capture him doing so. He's a politician and he doesn't do things out of the good of his heart.

Re: The Message of Awe Thread

I love weird coincidences. I'm in Split at the moment (look at me etc.) so today I've been reading about Ivan Meštrović the sculptor as he has a gallery here and created that statue of Gregory of Nin which is outside the palace. He died in a town in America that I'd never heard of; South Bend, India...

Re: Could Sunderland be the new Leeds?

I doubt it, but I love reading the threads on their board which are basically "we're 140m in debt, but we get 98m for finishing bottom, 40m parachute payment, 30m for Pickford plus the 30m we'll get for Kone and a few others so essentially we're 60m+ in the black and richer than the mags"....
