Re: Emre Belozoglu 05/08

I always remember him being streets ahead of most of our other players and looking permanently frustrated that his teammates weren't on his wavelength.

Re: Pavel's eBar

I'd give it a go but I only buy free range meat (don't think McDonald's chickens are free range). I'm not against rearing animals for meat (my in-laws own a free range chicken farm) but I personally prefer knowing that the meat I'm eating ( <perv> ) has at least had the opportunity to spend some of...

That's because they're f***ing awful. I still eat them myself, don't get me wrong, but they're like 1% chicken, 85% salt and then 14% slime.

Re: Match thread Burnley v NUFC

He can play Hayden over Diame. He can play Mitrovic over Joselu. He can play Clark over Manquillo. Our players are more than good enough. We've got a quality international striker sitting at home. He’s played Hayden over Diame most of the season. Starting Diame tonight showed more attacking intent,...

Comfortable 3 - 0 win tonight. Two for Joselu and one for Merino.

Re: Match thread - NUFC v Palace

I understand, and agree to an extent, but to be honest, I feel like a lot of that was down to the team and set-up he was a part of. I feel like in something like Rafa's system he would work a lot harder. He's such a better number 10 option than Perez though. But with our £500m war chest, we can buy...

I liked him but he was so inconsistent. On his day he was totally unplayable, a bit like Sissoko, but more often than not he just didn't seem interested.

<scratch> Yeah you could say he was at fault for the Liverpool goal perhaps, but he pulled off some blinding saves today and in the Bernabeau. He's an excellent keeper. Grossly might have been strong. He's a good keeper, maybe even very good, and if he were talked about like a good keeper I wouldn'...

Re: Newcastle United is officially for sale, Ashley wants deal by Christmas

If we spend £500m, we'll get absolutely f***ed by the FA, UEFA and FIFA over the Financial Fair Play rules. I'm sure there's ways round it through clever accounting , bogus sponsorship deals and deferring payments. Not that I think we'd get anywhere near that even if/when the takeover is complete. ...
