Re: FA Cup 2024/25

We can beat Brighton. Draw could have been better for us, but could've been a lot worse too.

Re: Pavel's eBar

Cheers for all of that!! Really helpful info to look into areas. MiniOT is now at uni in Royal Holloway and just finished her first term but she's happy there and looking at doing a masters afterwards so her next 4/5 years are all set and it's a perfect time for MrsOT and I to get ourselves sorted ...

Ref seems a bit s*** so far.
Going to let loads of yellow cards slide and then give out a flurry of them later on and piss everyone off. It doesn't help the game by not booking players for yellow card fouls.

Half arsed defending yet again, lazy ****.
It actually pissed me off seeing them just watch Barkley score. I get it was the most likely outcome in that scenario, but would have been nice to see one of the 3 defenders at least make some sort of attempt.

Can't quite make my mind up about this one, we'll either win 3-1 or 4-1.

I'm not as pessimistic as I used to be, but definitely have a bad feeling about today. And the next 7 or 8 matches after that too.

If Spuds lose or draw at Goodison tomorrow, it's looking odds on to be top 4 finish for us.

That's highly significant as it will open up another £100m for us in players over next 2 windows . And players want CL
The prospect of CL football terrifies and excites me in equal measures <laugh>

Re: The Carabao Cup Final matchday thread

Just need to keep the season on track and at least get something from it, even if it is that wanky European competition. To end such a positive season with absolutely nothing would be gutting, albeit very Newcastle United.

He was to English football commentary what Murray Walker was to F1.
And Sid Waddell to darts.

The Ronnie Radford goal is getting a bit of airing again due to the Motson commentary. You'd think they'd have worn that tape through by now.
