Re: Pavel's eBar

Interesting. Over here (TX) almost everyone has broadband and almost no on has a land line. Yeah it’s a complete con really. I’ve got a landline for broadband but don’t even bother plugging a phone into it. All I ever seemed to get was cold calling on the landline so I just disconnected the phone.

Re: Ashley Agrees to Sell Newcastle for £350m!

My biggest concern with this is the way Ashley conducts his business, he's enough of a cronut to insist on Sports Directs being still embedded in some way with the club, I honestly believe what we know is only the tip of the iceberg, I fear a takeover will reveal a lot of shady deals that benefits ...

Re: NUFC Minor/Untrusted Transfer Rumours (Summer 2019)

Linked with Jordan Lukaku again in the press. This time it appears to be a player swap for Lascelles. Lukaku allegedly failed a medical with us in the January transfer window. Haha not a chance <laugh> Lukaku cost them €4m in 2016 and played 7 games for them last season, so they'd have to give us L...

Re: Women's World Cup France 2019

I'd agree that the level of celebration was over the top if it was a league match. When you play for your country and score then you should celebrate . If they hadn't of celebrated they'd likely be lambasted by Trump and then you'd have all his **** nugget supporters sending threats anyway. Especia...

Willo for England was definitely just #bantz.
As a Scotland supporter, I feel the need to clarify my support was genuine.

Match between Sweden and Chile halted for safety reasons after 70 minutes in Rennes due to thunderstorms.

The conditions were awful but were certainly a leveller between the two sides.

Re: The F1 Thread

The other takeaway from this season is that Kubica does not belong in an F1 car now. He’s embarrassingly slow. Yes it was a nice story, but it was clear from testing last season that he’s nowhere near quick enough anymore. Credit to him for where he’s gotten back to, but there’s not really any spac...

Re: Women's World Cup France 2019

I followed some of the England vs Scotland match and have to say that I was impressed with Scotland overall and their attitude to going two goals down against one of the tournament favourites. Hopefully Scotland's Women can make it out of the group stages of the World Cup which would be a first for ...

Re: Pavel's eBar

If you go SIM only you can get unlimited data for around £20-£25 per month if you go on a 12/24 month contract. If you want a rolling monthly contract a little bit more. So not too bad really. So why do people still have land lines? If you want broadband them you generally need to have a landline. ...

Re: NUFC Minor/Untrusted Transfer Rumours (Summer 2019)

Newcastle United bid £20m for Jean-Philippe Mateta – L’Equipe L’Equipe claim that now Newcastle are one of five English clubs to have had bids of between £18m and £22m (20m euros – 25m euros) turned down by Mainz. The then 20 year old striker was first linked with Newcastle last summer after scorin...
