Re: New Kit 21/22

I've had two good experiences with DHGate and one order which never turned up. Ultimately they're a marketplace like Amazon or ebay and every seller on there is different.

Re: Holidays

My wedding was expensive in comparison to some of yours (about £6k) but about a quarter of the price of some weddings I've been to. I knew someone who spent £30k on their wedding and got divorced within a year. They're still paying for a wedding to someone they're not even married to anymore <doh>....

Ronaldo confirmed to Man Utd - https://www.manutd.com/en/news/detail/cristiano-ronaldo-completes-transfer-to-man-utd-from-juventus It's been interesting watching the flip-flopping from fans of different teams as his expected destination changed - anywhere from one of the two best players in the worl...

Re: New Kit 21/22

I'd thought the third kit was green? Or did that turn out to be the keeper shirt? The green version is the third keeper kit, which I'm pretty sure was worn last week. Since it's not a luminous green it has the magic ability to camouflage the goalkeeper and make the opponent think they have an empty...

Re: Other Clubs Rumours/Transfers (Summer 2021)

Quiet end to the window upcoming. Mbappé to Real Madrid. Ronaldo to City, no PSG, no Man Utd actually - wherever it is, he's out of Juventus. Haaland to PSG? Richarlison to PSG? Kane is staying put because "the big master of negotiations, Daniel Levy, who knows everything" refused to negotiate with ...

Willock in squad, Shelvey injured, Dubravka suffers set-back

https://www.nufc.co.uk/news/latest-news/willock-set-for-second-bow-but-shelvey-ruled-out-bruce/ "Jonjo won't make it. He had a calf injury during pre-season and it's his other one now - which is Sod's law," he said. "If I'm being brutally honest, I'd have liked (Joe) to have a few more minutes under...

Re: NUFC Minor/Untrusted Transfer Rumours (Summer 2021)

It's from the mail, but apparently we've put a price tag of 10m on Sean Longstaff because his contract is running down. Bruce doesn't like either of the brothers haha. The Athletic are reporting that if we sign a centre-mid, Longstaff will be permitted to leave. Rafa is keen (and has continued to a...

Re: Match day thread: Newcastle v West Ham

You'd hope that next match Willock will presumably be fulfilling that get forward in attack/support role and Hayden will be shielding the back four. Hopefully Lascelles back too to give us some actual presence in defence. Maybe. Bruce seems to love Shelvey deeper (less pressing so he has more time ...

Re: Pavel's eBar

The more closely I looked at the Australian offer and what the next 5 or so years would look like down that path, the more holes that appeared in the plan - lots of statutory minimums in the contract, so if they could give me less, they very well would, plus their parent company isn't exactly the mo...

Re: Pavel's eBar

We had always said that we'd like to work abroad for a few years, with Canada or Oz as the dream destinations - it's an entirely scarier proposition now that I can sign a piece of paper to make it real. I'm leaning that way, but there's a lot of stress between being here and being there; need to sel...
