Re: Match thread - Man City v NUFC
I don't mind games like this at all. We're expected to get thumped so if it happens it happens. Drawing at home to Swansea and Brighton will be far worse for me than getting dicked by City. But, but, the goal difference. As if that matters. Your mocking tone is embarrassing, tbh. Clueless if you do...

Re: Other Club's Business (January 2018)
I can't think of many PL or Championship players I'd want us to sign less than Peter Crouch. Good lord. I'd rather bring back Nile Ranger.

Re: NUFC Minor/Untrusted Transfer Rumours (January 2018)
That's not Mitro though, if I were listing his weaknesses attacking an aerial ball in the box is absolutely one of them. His timing is horrendous. His header when we beat Spurs 5-1 was unbelievable. He's shown for Serbia as well that his heading is great. His heading is fantastic -I recall him cras...

Re: NUFC Minor/Untrusted Transfer Rumours (January 2018)
It sure would be nice to use our forward who can actually win a header - especially given how many crosses we put in against the weaker sides (that go unclaimed), and how much we hoof it clear against..well okay, we do that a lot against ever side. That's not Mitro though, if I were listing his wea...

Re: NUFC Minor/Untrusted Transfer Rumours (January 2018)
Kenedy looking decent tonight for Chelsea ... Just got the assist. Batshuayi was awfully marked by who else but Grant Hanley Josh Murphy has also been alright, but much the same flaws as his brother unsurprisingly. Also Kenedy has a haircut like a radgie from Wideopen Haven't been watching but soci...

Re: NUFC Minor/Untrusted Transfer Rumours (January 2018)
Club's facebook page had a feature about Mitro (and a few others) being back in training. Maybe Rafa's realised he's not getting a decent striker back and is being forced to bring Mitro in from the cold <roll> He was with the rest of the squad at Go Karting or whatever they were doing. Chronicle wa...

We are a lot quicker to believe this than anything positive that's been said although I think that's mainly due to it being on Sky

Not even gonna try and be positive about this. Pretty f***ing morbid all round and definitely heightens our chances of going down and Rafa walking. Seen some rumours it's a bargaining tactic from Mandy. Don't really believe that but I'll cling to it for hope.

Re: WEEKEND FOOTBALL - 12/15 JANUARY 2018
I'm not in any way suggesting we go 4 up top and get silly, my point is that going into the game looking to "only lose by a bit" is a terrible attitude, and it's probably that kind of mindset that's prompting our players to play with the level of fear that they clearly are. It said a lot for me Sat...

I know this is completely off topic but I've never seen a post more accurately describe Mitrovic.ALF wrote:Arsenal pushing for an equaliser and Lacazette is sat 20 yards outside the box. They are awful.

Good performance, bad result. Literally, a better striker would have got us 3 points.

Zaha has essentially won Palace points on his own recently. Been involved in almost every positive thing they've done.

**** me, some of you really are emotional wee men, aren't you? Paul Dummett's right foot and Hjl especially. Genuinely, 99% certain some of you are fans of another team that are here trolling. There's no conceivable way you could be a fan of a team and talk s**** the way you do. f***ing get over you...

Re: Match day thread - NUFC v BHA
I was at work and didn't see anything from the game, skim read this and other sources, were we really that bad? The negativity has seemed to hit an unprecedented level. Not that I'm saying it's without reason, I really don't know. From what I've seen, it sounds like Benitez really got it wrong toda...

Re: Match day thread - NUFC v BHA
These are both true. I can't speak for anyone else, it's just that it gets pretty tiring being drowned in negative comments. My main gripe is that alot of the negative sentiment is so over-reactionary. You'd think a club had never went through a bad patch before, the way some people are getting on....

Re: Match day thread - NUFC v BHA
You can’t really criticise people for being negative though. It’s all about opinions and people can say what they want . Personally I’m more apethetic towards the toon at the minute. I don’t go into games expecting much lately but today was beyond awful. I was at the game Wednesday and that was cra...

Re: Match day thread - NUFC v BHA
Serious question, if you hate our owners, slag off all managers, slag off the players season upon season then why do you bother supporting us, and I use support lightly as a lot of you in no way shape or form reflect supporters, you essentially watch or listen to a match, it's getting to the point ...
