Swaziland is now known as eSwatini.
If anyone is an actual fan of Geography there's a nice youtube series called Geography Now! which runs through a 10-20 min basic description country by country. I think it's projected to be a 3 and a half year project (one video a week.)

Re: Yoshinori Muto Transfer Thread- (9.5m fee agreed)

Clubs that have barely seen him play? Oh so knowledgeable "big club" fans? I don't see Mitro as a worldbeater, but I find the joke/rate him comparison a bit ludicrous. I'd say guys who watch more football than me, for sure. Essentially they watch all Premier League, Champions League, some European ...

Re: Lejeune suffering from knee knack

No, what I am saying is that historically people complain about Dummett and give him no credit, and as he returned to the team later in the season around the point at which form improved, could we not also credit him for the upturn? The same applies with dropping Merino, incidentally. My point was t...

Re: Yoshinori Muto Transfer Thread- (9.5m fee agreed)

Muto and Rondon would be great, but not sure playing them together is the answer. If anyone is keeping score, all of my friends who support other teams rate Rondon and think Mitro is a joke. I understand that will annoy some people, but sometimes it helps to have an outside view. Presumably none of...

He's a centre half. If he wasn't doing much we would have conceded a hell of a lot more goals...
On that basis can we assume the same for Dummett?

Re: Lejeune suffering from knee knack

You aren't getting abuse, but given he's a player new to the league and got crocked in his first game, the fact he utterly hit the ground running after Christmas was a key part of saving our season. Clearly solid, but also so calm on the ball in a way we haven't had since Colo, plus a fantastic eye...

Re: NUFC Minor/Untrusted Transfer Rumours (Summer 2018)

Caulkin gets it, and is a talented writer. I enjoy all of his pieces. I understand people thinking you shouldn't write off a player before they have played, but transfers in these circumstances will yield negativity when pretenders in other parts of the country are spending 5-10 fold on their additi...

If anyone hasn't mentioned or seen it, I highly recommend Justified as a great Crime / Drama series. Solid characters and outstanding performances.

Aside from that, the obvious ones like Rick and Morty, Better Call Saul, Bojack Horseman, The Good Place...

Indeed, but then refuse to disclose purchase prices where possible and continually the excuse has been offered that NUFC can't financially compete, in particular with Watford, Burnley, Bournemouth etc. when they should be at least running the same speed in terms of consistency and salary as the lik...

Re: Lejeune suffering from knee knack

I'll get a barrage of abuse for saying it, but I've not seen anything amazing from Lejeune as of yet...he seems competent and obviously he is nowhere as weak as the years and years of Colo / Williamson / Taylor axis of underwhelming, yet even so, if we brought in someone else as cover I'd be ok with...

Re: When is a Kit Kat a Kit Kat?

It's synonymous with the design but only in particular countries and it's too easily imitated (it's not like they're using more uncommon ingredient combinations such as caramel with peanut), so I am not surprised that this is the outcome. I do agree things like this are less problematic when the ECJ...

Re: Newcastle: The club where tomorrow never comes

Simple speculation owing to the fact that stated public accounts are not compared against bank balances, and that the business practices of Ashley have been unscrupulous consistently, and that UK football clubs have been used as money laundering previously (Birmingham City, Portsmouth, Leeds etc.) ...
