Re: Other Clubs Transfers/Rumours/Wishlist

Makes his attempt at getting a big contract even more silly now. Think he potentially damaged a lot of relations within the club and probably made a bad name for himself. That whole saga did change my option of him.

Re: Football Titbits

I'm pretty sure anyone, man or woman, going into journalism isn't a push over and can speak up for themselves, they know the nature of the business and the type of characters you are going to have to deal with. She may have been offended and then again she might not have been. The problem these days...

Re: FA Cup football

If we struggled against Blackburn there was going to be doubt regardless of who we drew. The only thing left to play for would have been a trip to Wembley for a semi final for our away support.

Guess you can never say never but the feeling is the season is now a complete write off.

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Blackburn Rovers

I feel for Isak, when those behind you either cut back and play the ball infield or cut back and send an aimless ball towards the back post. Every through ball or ones over the top are always over hit, i think Bruno isn't all he's made up to be in the final third btw, seems more the type who will as...

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Blackburn Rovers

Howe has overseen a rise in arrogance with this squad, none of them give a s*** and why should they, guaranteed starters every week whilst he s**** on players like Livramento and Hall, he can **** off, get rid now and just bring in a caretaker then have a clear out in summer starting with Longstaff,...

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Blackburn Rovers

Let's add Blackburn to the list of teams we should be beating that have completely outclassed us on the pitch. Just hope the board have the balls to get rid of Howe at the end of the season. No way back for him imo.

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Blackburn Rovers

Our problems are much deeper than a CDM I'm afraid, abysmal in every area of the pitch.

Re: 23/24 NUFC Kits Thread

Said I wasn't going to get any kits from this season and would wait for Adidas but that's a f***ing good deal, Isak 14 home kit on the way 😅. Not keen on the green kit, I do like the 3rd though but unfortunately out of stock on my size.

Re: Weekend football - 24/26 February 2024

This whole Klopps kids s**** is doing my head in, he started a very strong team and brought a few academy players on very late, they are acting like he lined up with 11 academy level players, some that came on have had plenty of games already this season. Don't get me wrong I dislike Chelsea and how...

Yankuba Minteh got another 2 goals tonight, good chance he will be part of the squad next season to bolster that RW

Willock looking bright is the only positive to take from this. Once again we were abysmal.

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Gunners

We are barely clinging onto top half, we have been absolute s**** and all I hear is excuses constantly. If Chelsea weren't playing in the cup there would have been a good chance we would have fell into the bottom half of the table this weekend.

We have been near the bottom end of the leagues form table for a while, December and January we were actually bottom for a good while.

We have been on relegation form for months, it's been coming. Hopefully questions start actually being asked now rather than excuses being made for the absolute s**** we are seeing every week.

Re: Dan Ashworth confirmed as gardening director

According to the journos the club was basically the last to know about the interest from Man Utd. The whole approach has been so unprofessional.

Also sounds like the club are exercising their right to make this process as difficult as possible for Man Utd and Ashworth.
