Our manager position must be the safest job in football. What do you have to do to be sacked? Unless you're Chris Hughton of course.

If we lose heavily tonight, it could get ugly for McClaren, having to walk past the fans

Re: Foreign Football
If he was so selfless why didn't he just let Suarez take it? He seems like an honest lad so he probably didn't want to disobey team orders. If he was put on pens then he probably knew he should take the pen. He showed great character and tremendous camaraderie to set his teammate up for a hattrick ...

Has to go! The club need to realise that stability doesn't always bring success either, success brings stability in this game!

If we go down this time, I can see us doing a Leeds. I can't see any characters in this squad that will react the way the likes of Nolan, Barton and Smith did last time!

Re: Chelsea vs Newcastle Utd - 13/02/16
The one thing I've respected about McClaren in the past is that if a job has been above him, he's walked away like at Forest and his second spell at Twente. This time around he seems completely deluded that he's doing well and we're not really threatened by relegation!

Re: Foreign Football
That is not true at all if you mean in the sense that he only performs against the crap teams. It's massively true this season. Only performing against s*** teams, so much so that a good 44% of his goals* have been against Espanyol & Malmo. That stat also coming before his latest hat trick....again...

Re: NUFC v Wba match day thread.
Sitting is probably the wrong word, but Doumbia or Perez should have been on to try to grab a second goal, waiting till 88th to change something is a joke, McClaren should have done all he could to wrap the game up long before then. I was screaming at the tv for like 20 minutes for McClaren to make...

Re: Everton v NUFC not so amazing match day thread
Only been one game but I'm already worried about Townsend. We needed to buy a winger for actual width and he just looked like he wanted to go inside all the time, even on the left. Was impressed with his work ethic though, which can't be said for Shelvey... I wouldn't judge him based on last night....
