Re: The next manager?

I applaud Mike Ashley, he's made Football Manager 2019-20 a real challenge this year . . . . . and I get to replace Steve Bruce. Bonus.

Re: Perez Leaving

I don't quite understand why Leicester want him, plays in roughly same position as James Maddison who's far more consistent than Ayoze.

Re: Rafa leaving official confirmation

Well, it's taken me 12 hours but I finally found a silver lining. I won't feel so bad replacing some other cronut rather than Rafa as manager in next season's Football Manager.

Re: Ashley Agrees to Sell Newcastle for £350m!

So am I right I’m assuming that this process is still at the fit and proper owners stage ? I’m fairly sure that was 3 weeks ago at least and it’s only meant to take 2 weeks ? I suppose no news is good news but I’m starting to get a bit concerned I'd imagine there are a few parallel process happenin...

Re: Newcastle 2019-20 Fixtures

For the first time in Premier League history, the clubs will get a short mid-season break in February. The break will be staggered over a two-week period. There will be only five matches on one weekend, with the other five games from that round taking place the following weekend, ensuring that each...

Re: Match day - NUFC v Spurs

Thought we looked decent. Except Yedlin, absolute liability at the back. Can't mark, Dele Ali must of felt lonely all on his own most of the game.

Re: Other Clubs Transfers Summer 2018/19

Fulham announced five players, all after the deadline - Marseille midfielder Andre-Frank Anguissa in a £22.3m deal, Bristol City left-back Joe Bryan for £6m and Sergio Rico, Luciano Vietto and Timothy Fosu-Mensah on loan. That made them the first promoted team ever to spend over £100m in the summer...

Re: Yoshinori Muto Transfer Thread- (9.5m fee agreed)

Competition for Perez at best. Don't think we should be dismissing our top goalscorer from last season this early, Perez is improving under Rafa & I expect him to be better this season.

You think he's their biggest issue right now? <scratch>
He's been done by Perez & Kenedy at the back & missed a very good chance & halfchance going forward.

Kennedy needs to pressure him more.
