Re: Salomon Rondon to sign this weekend?

given the lenght of time left in the window and how it feels like we drag out the important signings, I think Donron will be the last bt of business Inevitably people will joke that a loan suits best because WBA get Gayle while they need him scoring championship goals and NUFC get him back when the...

Why? We play one up top and we've got three plus Perez, that's more than enough.
Muto and Perez aren't strikers. If Rondon gets injured we're left with Joselu which is unacceptable imo.

Re: Salomon Rondon to sign this weekend?

Assuming he's a swap for Gayle, we still need at least one more quality striker.

Re: NUFC close to breaking point. Rafa rightly lays into club.

I've been following things tonight and I'm staggered at how far we've fallen since finishing 10th in May. For the first time in ages there was a real feeling that we'd kick on with even a modest amount of investment, how could it go wrong? Mike Ashley - "Hold my beer" What a shame. Have we though? ...

Re: The ToonForum Whisky Club

I've definitely noticed a slight increase over the last few months. I'd guess around 10% on average but more or less depending on distributor I suppose. There are so many bourbon offers on in the supermarkets anyway that even if there was a rise it probably wouldn't matter half the time. I'd say it...

Re: The Kenedy Thread (medical)

At the end of last season I was 99% he'd be off to another club, so I'm delighted even if we only get a year. Very much this, I thought he was out of reach to be honest. I still only take things one season at a time under Ashley and don't think I'll ever feel settled as long as he's here. So Kenedy...

West Ham are just as bad as us for extreme low balling, they seem to make unacceptable bids or bids for people who will never come, just to look like they are making an effort.

Wild Turkey 81 £23 at Morrisons. Also Woodford Reserve at £27
WT81 is currently £18 on Amazon, in fact it's almost continuously under £20.

I've just ordered a bottle of WT Rare Breed for £45 with free delivery <divax>

Still buzzing after that, and the birth of my second child yesterday. Now a proud dad of two boys, with England in the quarters, two more weeks off work and the best summer we've had in years.

3% interest rates! <laugh>
Let's face it, 1% would keep you ticking over nicely anyway!
Spend it on property. A 6% yield is pretty easy to achieve with a little common sense.

Re: The ToonForum Whisky Club

<divax> I find it a bit boring TBH, Sainsburys have Bulleit at £22 and Woodford at £25 which would be my preference Strange that, I earlier said the exact same thing on the facebook bourbon page about it. Collected a bottle earlier and been disappointed. It's got the typical JD taste going on but a...
