Just to waste a bit of time , get you thinking and take your minds off the saga that isn't a saga because no-one knows what's going on but everyone's talking about it anyway and it MIGHT be a saga or it might be nothing at all .... Re: Ashley Agrees to Sell Newcastle for £350m!

He's extended the stay in Reighton Sands apparently, so that's good.
Rumours he's bought the old smoke house in Whitby and he's shipping it brick by brick back home, they all went for the day and he's now obsessed with the kippers. ( Don't blame him, they're fantastic! )

Re: Rafa Benitez reveals 'positive' talks over his Newcastle United future

BBC Sport: Newcastle boss Rafael Benitez has received a £12m-a-year offer to take over as manager at Chinese Super League club Dalian Yifang. Benitez, 59, is out of contract at the end of June but has been offered a new deal by Newcastle owner Mike Ashley. So far he has been unable to agree a deal a...

f***ing loved Reighton sands as a kid 😂
Me too -used to go every summer in the 70s, they had a big tractor used to tow a big trailer with bench seats on it to and from the beach, we'd run behind it and hang off the back of the trailer .. Health and Safety wasn't invented then ! <laugh> <laugh>

Re: Ashley Agrees to Sell Newcastle for £350m!

The reason's nothings coming out yet is Sheikh Khaled is currently on holiday in Reighton Sands caravan park in North Yorkshire til next Friday. I have it on good authority ( ITK from a bloke whos cousins mates older brother works security and the slots arcade ) that him and seven of his eighteen wi...

Re: Ashley Agrees to Sell Newcastle for £350m!

Can't understand why the new owners ( IF they exist! ) WOULDN'T want Rafa - world class, loved and trusted by the fans, great figurehead for the club, can attract top players , proven record .. what's not to like ? Will take any new manager a long time to build up that level of support from the fans...

Rafa's last home game ?

(Apologies for the doom-mongering), but Liverpool this weekend could potentially be Rafa's last home game in charge of Newcastle United. <disgrace> With that in mind, I'm hoping that the fans can generate a really special atmosphere at SJP for him - to say thanks for what he's done ( and tried to do...

Micky Gray talking cobblers on TalkSport. Again.

Micky Gray last night on Talksport saying if a new owner came in " it'd still be 10 -15 years " before we would be a regular top six club. We all know we're on life-support as a club, that we need massive investment in the ground and all our facilities as well as the team , but surely , IF an owner ...

Re: Lascelles signs new six-year contract

I don't see anything wrong with this. Shows he's committed to us by signing this contract. And if we do sell him, we get big bucks. Win win. Unfortunately, Newcastle United won't get big bucks .. think we all know now that how it works is it'll go on whatever external interests the Fat Man has at t...

The ridiculously happy and overly optimpistic NUFC thread..

A place to sweep away all the doom and gloom and negativity, and delight in the "what could be's" .. don't forget, if the theory of infinite bubble universes , where every possibility no matter how unlikely, MUST be played out, then somewhere out there in the vastness of space right now, is a NUFC t...

Is there ANYTHING positive about NUFC ?

Repeately pathetic levels of team "investment." A Manager & team who've tried & tried , but whose morale has been worn down by an utterly disgraceful owner, & now just use the sympathy card, & don't really try. Outdated academy that doesn't produce players. Heirarchy spouting lies continuously,, eve...

He's gonna be our number nine,
Da do ron Ron-don , a do Ron-don.
Yeah, he's on the Tyne,
Yeah, he's our number nine,

Re: Newcastle: The club where tomorrow never comes

Ashley's a High Street retailer, and the High Street's dying .. slowly at first, but it's demise is accelerating .. as his profit inevitably decline, so will his (already pathetic) investment. Unless he sells, each squad year on year is going to be further and further behind everyone else .. bleak t...
