Yeah its pretty obvious the point he was trying to make. Silly way of phrasing it but the backlash has been ridiculous.

Re: Newcastle Utd vs West Brom - 09/05/15
Thought today was a real improvement in terms of the fight from the players, aside from Sissoko who still didn't look arsed. Taylor is pretty awful now but he was a real example to the rest of the side in terms of the effort he put in. Atmosphere in the stadium was actually decent for the first time...

Most likely. I reckon we'll be the better side but concede from a couple of set-pieces/long balls and end up losing.Bodacious Benny wrote:Wba will outscore us due to our lack of a defence.

I swear they've been running the exact same poll under every manager related articlesince Pardew left. Even Tuchel's still on there.

What do people reckon actually happened with Bigirimana? I assume something went on behind the scenes because two years ago he had pretty much established himself as a first team squad member...

Could well be a load of bollocks to try and stoke the flames but I wouldn't be surprised if its true either. I'm pretty much beyond caring now, just watching this all unfold with a sense of morbid curiosity.

Re: Do we need to now get behind the team and Carver?
Our fans haven't really got behind the team at any point this season. I imagine the last two home matches will be much the same as usual - really flat with the crowd just getting tetchier with every mistake made on the pitch.

Has anyone actually confirmed whether or not Lascelles can play for us this season then? Given that two defenders got sent off today you'd think it would be a pretty obvious question for a journo to ask after the match...

Re: Leicester City vs Newcastle Utd - 02/05/15
Fight and determination are pretty much pointless without any coherent tactics. Plenty of our players are trying their best but its completely futile. Perez runs around up front trying to hassle defenders but the ball just gets knocked around him. Colback can win a 50/50 in midfield but there's so l...

Re: Leicester City vs Newcastle Utd - 02/05/15
He's atrocious at attacking the ball. Every set-piece we've had for the past 4 years has been aimed at him and he's scored once off a rebound.
